- Asi| 1 replyI was told that the Bahamas Celebration was giving away free cruises for advertising.
The website given to me for registration was www.caribbeanregistration.com
It did seem so true and so tempting but these posts just made me think otherwise.- Caller: bahama celebrationcaribbean cruise line
- steveo1009| 1 replyfake other number is 18005866693.
- Joe| 1 replyWhy do all of you rely on the BBB as a way of making a decision?
1) The BBB has no pull to make any changes to businesses at all, it is simply a central location for an information about a business.
2) A company not being registered with the BBB means nothing, it does not mean they are a good or bad company.
I just wanted to make that clear to those of you who think the BBB is god. Also, yes this is a scam, and anyone who would fall for it doesn't get out much, or believes everything people tell them. - unjust| 2 repliesthese people need to go stairght to jail for these fake caribbean cruise line voucher they have a new number 1800-441-6306 and 1800 445 4657

- stoopidmonkey replies to unjust| 1 replywhat about the morons who fall for the something-for-nothing scam? should there be a special jail for them too? or should we just take their phones away? these morons are keeping the criminals in business!
- Alan W.I got the letter in the mail with the $1300 vouchers, and free 2 days in Bahama's etc. I'm glad we now have the internet to see things like this that other people have gotten also. I have been thinking about going to Bahama's a the beginning of next year, so was a coincidence. And, I've long ago done a few of these high-pressure swales pitches for resort weeks being sold, so thought I could put upwith that anyway. But, after seeing this site, I see I better stay away from this. Thanks to all of you who post here. This is a good community effort, and thanks to BBB also.
- E/DI also got a free voucher for $1300 and 2 days free in Bahamas. I booked the trip and paid over a thousand. When I called to re confirm my reservation, the accomodation was changed. After a much heated argument with the representative, I asked for my money back. I asked for a their e mail address, I was told they don't have an e mail. I got nervous and went in the internet to find out who are these people. I have provided them both my Canadian and American credit cards. I got sick after I read all these complain about the company.

- E/DThe BBB is a great way for all of us to complain. Looking at the BBB site under the Law in the state of Flordia "Seller of travel Act" states one can get a full refund if down within 30 days is a guaranteed travel date is not assigned, also if the company is notified one can get a refund. As the BBB web-site state the company has a F rating. Full of information, give the BBB as much info, as one can, and will have the company, short on travellers which then could put then under presser to close. The date the company started businee is may 21, 2008.
Don't be shy to report complaints to BBB, the more evidence great.- Call type: Debt collector
- RipoffstopperI have found that the cruise line is listed under several names Bahama cruise, http://www.caribbeancl.com/, http://www.thecaribbeancruiseline.com/, and exec...
They have one thing in common the spokes woman is Carmen Electra. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carmen_Electra
Now what is strange is no where on any of these websites do they give you a company location or contact people. You get just and 1-800 number on some of the sites.
This fact alone is reason for concern. Usually indicative of a scam.
How can a cruise be free but they want me to pull out my credit card and will not even give me the name of the company? Free Cruise or Bahama Cruise is not a company name. The website again gives zero address info. Even the people who run their website will not give you the company info. They use a site that purposely keeps the customer info private. No legitimate business would even want to keep their contact info private.
Second I do not have much info on the actual owners but what I have found is this person is listed with the BBC as the current owner.
Funny I found her current number thanks to a helpful associate who probably screwed up. All the info is on this website for Legal help as to how to get in contact with her.

- Amy| 1 replyI received the same mail, 2 nights free caribbean cruise line and $1,300 travel vouch. It is good that I checked this website.
- HoNeYI got a letter today from this company and the first thing I did is research about it and I found this website...I don't even bother calling the # cuz I kno its a scam just like SunDance Vacation...nothing is free in this world anymore...althought it does sound good but don't be fooled by it...I just came from Bahamas and its so worth it if u just buy it...
- disappointed replies to twirlyDarn! I was getting excited too. I was thinking about vacations when I check my mail and then there it was, a free cruise! I read through everything and it sounded legit but I still wanted to check it out.
After reading everything on this site I'm gonna say yea this IS too good to be true. I don't think people would waste time warning us about this "cruise line" if it wasn't a scam so thank you to everyone who posted. - Emily| 1 replySo disappointing. . . I got this in the mail, and while my "sketch-o-meter" was immediately blinking, it wasn't in the red zone yet. But the more research I tried to do on these people, the less legitimate information I actually found. No easily located websites, no good reviews, except for the ones put up by "Employees". What a shame :( I was really looking forward to a nice free cruise. I'm recently engaged, and planning a wedding and keep getting fake offers like this in the mail, and calling my cell phone. Apparently after registering with David's Bridal and "The Knot", they sold my information to every scammer in the book. Very disappointing :(
- Lisa| 1 replyI received the free voucher for $1300 and 2 days free in Bahamas. I know it's too good to be true.
- patrickI got the same thing in the mail today. Got really excited but the cruise ticket on the last page looked really fake so I Googled the number and found this. Thanks everyone for posting!
Did anyone else's come with a Delta Skymiles logo on the front? Because I just received my Frequent Flier Miles card, I thought this was legit before I called Delta and asked them.- Caller: Caribbean Cruise Line
- too good to be truewow -- how sad! these people should go to jail! there are people who will believe this scam. wake up people!
- Marcia| 1 replyThis company called my 84 year old mother who is in the beginning stages of dementia. She answered the phone and since she is a very lonely lady talked with them. During the conversation, they talked her into giving them her credit card number and codes on the back. She was charged $498 deposit for the cruise. When I saw the information that she had written down -details of the trip - and the confirmation number, I freaked out!!!! Mom can't even walk and here she booked a cruise!?!?!?
I immediately called back the company, told them of her circumstances (dementia) and asked that they cancel this deal and kindly refund her monies as she is on a very fixed income and has numerous medical bills to pay.
They REFUSED to refund the money saying this is a bonified agreement and that they have her voice on a tape recorded conversation agreeing to take this trip. . . Momsits in a rocking chair all day rocking back and forth and doesn't even know what day it is. . .They took advantage of an elderly senior citizen with dementia. . . HELP! ! ! anyone know how I can get this transaction reversed and recoup her monies????- Caller: Caribbean Cruise Line, Pompano Beach, FL
- LiI received mine in the mail today and am looking at it right now. I don't fall for things like this in the mail. It's all BS. All I can say is I hope those people will get what's coming to them. Best of luck to all. Payce.
- baygirlMarcia and those who've provided creditcard info and have been charged...the best thing to do now that you tried resolving with the crooks directly, is to get in contact with your credit card company IMMEDIATELY. Tell them what happened and that you tried to resolve it directly. Give them details, for instance, who you spoke to, what day, what time, and what was said. And ask your creditcard or bank representative that the the charge be reversed. See what they can do. Goodluck. I have also received such offer with the #18004416306 via voucher in the mail. Shredded it. No honest business should treat guests/customers they way these crooks are.
