- anneShelly Campbell left this message on my husbands' WORK voicemail...“Already on a program…. Expired month of June…. Needed to call immediately or it was going to be escalated”
1-800-441-7048 x31685
When he called her, she stated that he was on the Reduced payment program w/ our monthly payments reduced to $170 and a rate of 4.25…. but, as of June 29 I had stopped payments on my Bank of America MasterCard w/ last 4 digits of something she rattled off quick… well I looked at our card an noticed that we have a Visa…. And I told her that I wasn’t comfortable w/ this phone call and that it didn’t seem legit… she then asked if this was Sxxx Dxxxxx from 15 roberts ave in Massachusetts… she then tried to get some more information from me… then claimed that everything was a mistake and was sorry for bothering me.
We called BoA, and they don't have a record of that phone # or Shelly Campbell. So we called her & told her to stop harassing us.- Caller: Card Services

- LisaI received a call from 800-441-7048 first on my cell phone, which I did not answer. They hung hup and called my home # immediately, which came up as MBNA. Again, I did not answer. I tried calling the company back to see what it was about, but the office was closed and the message only said 'thank you for calling card services'. I do not owe any outstanding balances on any of my credit cards, so I was curious as to what the call was about. It seems from reading the above that it's a fraudulent call.......

- Reported Fraud| 1 replyI received several calls between 5:15 and 6:00 am. Caller ID indicated "FIA Card Svc N" on the first few, and then it was "EDS BOA MBNA" on the rest. When you call those numbers back, which are 302/457-5242 and 302/458-3000, respectively, an automated message refers you to 1-800-441-7048. This number has an automated message referring one back to the toll free number on the back of your credit card. The calls I received had no caller on the other end, just repeated beeping. I have reported these numbers to BofA, MBNA, my own bank, the police, and I am personally researching to ensure that we are not victims of this fraud. We have experienced credit card fraud in the past, and it is a huge headache to clear up. I recommend that you also report to every company involved if you receive these calls. In addition, I have changed my credit card and banking numbers and put passwords on all accounts.
If you search the phone numbers through the public telephone books, they do not come up as owned by a business. They are landlines assigned to individuals in the Newark, Delaware area. I am in the process of getting those names to bring to the police and provide to the fraud departments of the banks involved. If anyone else can do the same or more, it would help to end this.
DO NOT give out information or even engage in a conversation with these people. Immediately contact the bank they pretend to represent with all of the information that you have, and the police. If fraud actually occurs, keep in mind that you must file a police report on your own, and press charges on your own. The banks will investigate to pursue clearing up the matter, but the crime is against you, and they will not press charges. We have put three parties behind bars thus far...looking forward to the fourth at 800-441-7048!- Caller: FIA/EDS/BofA/MBNA

- cindyFraud Not BOA, I have BOA numbers and they are not located In Deleware. BOA usually uses the US mail they don't call their customers at 7am.
I got call 7am from302-458-3025, I called it back and it said credit card services please call 800-441-7048.
I checked the 800 # out it is was (not found) in USA.. I believe this a scam posing as possibly a valid bank to extort $$$.
About 6 years ago ,I got a call at My parents home. Dad answered and the guy said He was a lawyer from BOA and that I owed $15,000. If I did not send Money They would call sheriff and have me arrested.
I had a zero balance with BOA and even showed Dad my statement. the fake lawyer gave all kinds of personal Info about Me to my Dad . Some of it was accurate but some was way off, Like saying they had evidence that I had collected my mail in another state I had never even been thousands Of miles away.
Remember it is easy for crooks to get personal info about people these days.- Caller: unkown

- James RichardsonI got a call from someone claiming to be from the fraud department, saying that someone was attempting to get a credit card in my name. I received a call earlier in the week from my Dad because someone had called him too but was using my information. She was trying to confirm the last 4 of my SSN, birth date, and address either to reset a password on my account or for some other nefarious means. When I called her on it, I could hear the nervousness in her voice which further heightened my suspicions. I asked her for a case number and her name and told her I'll call Bank of America directly, she was trying to keep me on the phone by explaining that calling BoA would just send me right back to her, yeah right. Malinda Younce was the fake name she gave me.
