I have set and read and a lot of the post ...99% of then talk about the same issues i am having from this same so called NCO Financial System .....however i have got a whole list of 800 numbers that are linked back to them so i thought i would post them here so that others will be forewarned not to answer the calls.....

I don't know what Patti is talking about but yes that number is for Directv case management which has nothing to do with anything billing related.  It is a department where eligibilty is based on reoccurring technical issues and they assign a case manager to you which contacts you from this number.  You would still need a pin to get thru to this department.

It must be DirecTV because I just had some technical issues resolved and received a call from this number so it makes sense based on everyone else's posts.

Just got this call and I dont even have DirecTV

I can positively confirm that this is DIRECTV's Case Management number. it is a department in which you are assigned a Case Manager who is specialized in fixing things when all other departments have failed. it comes from a standardized number in which you are to enter a pin that is associated with your particular Case Manager.

I just rec'd a call from this number. They left a message. Said it was Direct Communication Management, calling to follow up on a service call. Problem is, I don't even have DIRECTV, and there was no service call. Maybe they have a wrong #, or maybe it is a sales trick. At any rate, I am not planning to call back and enter the PIN he left on my voice mail.

I called  dtv and they said it's not their number.  Be careful

Caller said she was from ATT Case Manager, she asked to confirm my name and asked for my ATT account password. I rejected and told her my bill is paid in full. I told her this is a scam and hung up and called ATT to report the call and provided the 800-442-1635 number.  ATT said they do not call and solicit your account password or security code EVER. About two hours late the same lady calls back and says she now is from DirecTV Case Manager, and said may have thought this was a scam, and before she could say more I told yes I still do and told her don't call back. I then called ATT/DirecTV and they affirmed my DirecTV bill is also paid in full and they will NEVER ask for you password or Security code. Just a general precaution, if someone is calling you asking for collections or anything else, they will have all the information they need to process your request, outside of confirming your address, stay clear!!

We are "AT&T Case Managers" now that AT&T bought out DirecTV. That confuses a lot of people hearing AT&T- especially if they don't have AT&T. We only deal with technical issues with the DirecTV system. We are not debt collectors; no idea where you got that from. We ask you to verify your password for DTV only to confirm you're who you say you are. We'd never ask your AT&T passcode. Hell, we don't know anything about your AT&T aside from DTV. We are just trying to assist you with your tech issues.
