This number calls every half hour to an hour ALL day long. I have a dell account and have purchased 3 computers on it and am on an automatic payment system with them....but i have never answered the phone and never received anything in writing about any problems with my current account...until then , they will not receive an answer.

Dell is in BIG trouble with the New York State AG's office for their shady business practices and is being sued. Here is his website, where you can file a complaint:

Suggesting never to use Dell again.  Thanks to all who put notes in on this, it really does help other people.  I have recieved 3 calls today from someone whom I can hardly understand... who tells me my account is in collections and tells ME what my social security number is ARE YOU KIDDING ME?  I think he said he was claling from India!  He has access to all my personal information and was demanding a payment of $37 over the phone or I would go into collections... funny my account balance is $12.  What the heck, I will never ever ever use Dell again.  This is the Second time this has happened when I have never made a late payment.

follow up to the last post here . I rang this company
and they did not answer "dell" they were silent.
I said Hell0? they said yes? I said dell? ( pause..)
um yes,mam. I then told them,I have contacted the authorities,and give me your address,and she screamed at me.I then told her I am a victom of "phishing' and fraud.
she asked for my "social" I said NO FRIGGIN WAY.
she said "i cannot give you any info,your not a customer"
oh really?? then how come you call 15 times accusing me
of having a open account??

SOLUTION- GO TO DELL FRAUD SECTION ON MAIN  DELL WEBSITE.
GET THE INFO AND DO SEND THE LETTER,YES YOU NEED NOTARY,10.00 IS WORTH AT LEAST GETTING THIS DEALT WITH.
