Be wary of this one. They call and ask for you by name, there is a short pause. I just wonder if they are trying to record you saying "yes" and so that they can charge you for something you did not order. I had this happen to me before.

Got a call from this number today.

Lots of noise in the background, didn't seem professional at all.

He wanted to help me consolidate my debt into one card.  Then he said "all you need to do is give me some account numbers and I'll transfer that".

Never give account numbers to someone that called you.  This had scam written all over it.  Fifth Third will NEVER call and ask you for account numbers.

If you want to transfer debt to one of your cards, call the number on the back of the card and YOU initiate this.

I got this call too. Almost set my VOIP  phone service to reject it.

I called it back, got Fifth Third bank generic number it seems. I have several accounts there, but they didn't leave a message which leads me to believe it's a customer promotional call, several of which I have received before. I'll have to let them know I don't want the calls unless they plan to refinance my mortgages at a lower rate. :-)

All in all, I hadn't been left a message recently describing their purpose for calling this time. That's not acceptable.

I got this call and will be at my bank tomorrow to complain about it.  The man "Emir" was very unprofessional and apparently nervous.  I didn't let him get as far as to ask for my account numbers, but just said I was not interested.

Every 2 day in the evening i get a call the caller idea gives as 800-444-3620 the answering machine records what sounds like a "call Center" with all the noise. When I call it back it is either busy, answered by an answering machine as 5th 3rd....or even a message call cannot be completed a dialed.  It is so annoying and i want it stopped, how can i do that I feel it is a form of harrasment.  Then on the rare time I answered the phone they hung up..

Caller ID shows it as "Crown Savings". With a name like that, I didn't even bother picking up.

This call was definitely from Fifth Third Bank (or at least on behalf of them).  I called the number back and got Emir.  I requested to not be called again.  He told me that he would connect me with customer service to opt out.  I was on hold quite a while due to their "higher than normal call volume" (gee I wonder why that might be?).  The customer service person proceeded to ask me my usual "life story " before she could help me.  She asked my phone number, and then she put me on hold to "see why they were calling me"!  Duh, if I owed you something I know you would have left a message on my recorder!  Anyway she came back on the line to tell me they were soliciting me for further business.  I told her to stop calling and stop mailing me their garbage.  She removed me from both lists.  For what it's worth, she also told me that you have to opt out every year!!!!

Got 2 calls from this number today!  Pain in the neck - One trying to sell a credit card and ther other trying to sell credit protection  -  I'm not really sure that this is 5/3 Bank, even though my phone says it is.  This could be a SCAM just to get info.

I recieved a call from this number a few minutes ago. A male asked for my spouse. When I informed
him that he was not available. The male stated simply no message and hung up. I imediatly called
back and informed the man that answed as 5/3 bank I did not wish to recieve any more calls. I was then transfered to another person that asked for my account or social security number.
I will call my bank tomorrow and confirm that this is indead a ligitamant call from the bank.

I got a call this evening and my answering machine picked up.  Unfortunately the Fifth Third recording was already playing-back so the first part of their message was not recorded. The voice on their recording promised to call me back--as if multiple annoying calls would be fruitful. If it was Fifth Third bank, they are annoying telemarketing scum. If it was not Fifth Third Bank, then why doesn't Fifth Third have the culprits prosecuted? Goodness knows Fifth Third has enough lawyers on their payroll and they have enough economic power. Either way, we are seeing the true colors of Fifth Third.
