I ordered flowers for my wife's birthday in Feb 2008. I was charged for the flowers from PROFLOWERS. An additional charge of $1.95 showed up from EZSVER in February. Then unnoticed by me until July 2008 there has been a monthly charge of $14.95 per month from "EZSVER 8004449800" each month thereafter. I called the 800 number and they told me I must have signed up for the "EZ Saver Plan" when I purchased the flowers in February 2008. This was a one time purchase. I had not before and have not since purchased anything from "PROFLOWERS". I would not have signed up for any EZ saver plan and definately would not sign up for a plan that would cost $14.95 per month. The person I talked to at the 800 number said she would cancel the monthly charge. When I asked her about all the back charges she said she could only authorize and additional month to be rebated.
BE CAREFUL!! I feel that PROFLOWERS IS SCAMMING PEOPLE! I will never buy from PROFLOWERS AGAIN AND AM INFORMING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, ETC.
Did you get all of your money refunded to you that they charged to your account? The first representative told me that he could only refund me two months worth, but then he transfered me to another department to refund me to total amount.
Exactly the same thing has happened to me. I ordered some flowers with ProFlowers, and paid for the flowerds. Then today I noticed a recurring charge of $14.95 every monthfor May-August. I have informed my credit card bank about the fraud, but don't know how it will turn out. Peo Flowers is a scam.
RECEIVED THE CHARGE ON MY ACCOUNT FOR 19.80, 2X IN 12 HOURS! I NEVER ORDERED FROM PROFLOWERS, THOUGH. CALLED COMPANY AND SAID THEY WERE EASY SAVER, WHOEVER THEY ARE! THEN IT CAME THROUGH AGAIN WITH THE NUMBER 1-888-643-4763, LISTED AS AMERICAN LEISURE, BUT LO AND BEHOLD YOU CALL AND IT IS THE SAME COMPANY!!!!
This is total Bu***hit! I haven't called yet but I will and am pissed off. I never bought anything from stupid proflowers.com nor will I ever and I get charged not for them but for some stupid EZ saver or whatever it is. Not happy!
Seriously WHAT IS WRONG WITH F***ERS WHO THINKS IT IS OKAY TO SCAM PEOPLE SERIOUSLY!!!!!
And nobody called me it just showed up on my account. stupid a**es!
I got these charges on my credit card account after ordering from proflowers. I was cordial during the call and the representative I spoke too immediately cancelled the account and said my money would be refunded in 7-10 days. I had my Best Buy Credit card pull the same thing on me when i opened the account. Each purchase i made was under "insurance" which the company took out 10% of my balance each month as the payment for sed insurance. I called and cancelled that as well with a bit more of a problem than I did with this EZ Saver. Again, just call, be cordial and calm, have your transactions in writing in front of you. And there is nothing they can do but refund the amount and cancel the account if you tell them to.
This happened to me today. I called and was told that it came from an Oriental Trading offer that I got after I placed my order. For all the trouble I've had with that I believe I'll just go to Party City next time!
The exact same thing happend to me on the Nov 21. I placed an order with Oriental Trading company back in October 2008 and this mysterious charge appeared in my bank account about 1 month later. I called my bank and they gave the the following number: 877-699-9619. I called it and the recording said that they were open Mondays - Fridays 9-5:30. I'm still trying to resolve it. The recording did not give a company name or anything.
I suggest you all contact the companies whose sites you visited or ordered from that signed you up. I got hit by EZSaver from Sherri's Berries, I have also seen people reporting oriental Trading Co and Porflowers
Well, I finally noticed the charges on my account last month and just figured it was a purchase I forgot about...until I had another charge on my account today. At that point I knew something wasn't right, so I pasted the name of where the charge came from in the google search bar and came up with this website and some others talking about fraudulent charges that had been posted to their account. I was fuming! I can't understand how people that scam others can sleep at night. Anyways, I called up my bank to cancel the pending charge and also cancel out my debit card that was getting hit with the charges and order a completely new card. I also called to find out exactly how far back the charges went. I had a total of six months of charges from "Easy Saver." After I finished with the bank I called the 800-444-8900 that also showed up with the charge and it seemed wierd to me that when I told them I wanted my account credited how they didn't even argue with me about giving me a credit. Normally, when you enroll in something, for example a cell phone contract, companies will battle not to give you a credit if it is something that you knowingly signed up for. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. What they are doing simply isn't right. I most definitely won't be doing business with Proflowers anymore.
Same thing with us. My wife and mother-in-law ordered flowers at Christmas time and viola, we have a $14.95 charge on an account we just closed. IMAGINE the fees we now have!
as with everyone else i am also furious - i have to take time out of my weekend to (try) and get this money back that proflowers have stolen. currently still working on it. hopefully proflowers and the associated scammers will go out of business soon. PS- many thanks to the organizers of this website for the useful info.
These people actully took 80 dollars out of my account!!!!!!!!!!! I xalled them and got the same responce and found they were threw pro flowers and I actually got my money re turned that same day!!! There agent told me how sorry he was and that was about a month ago and now today they have taken another 14.95 out of my account. My advise to all you who are having this same problem is to call your bank or credit card company have yor card de activated and get another card I know its a headache but in the long run they can not get your money any more.
I noticed that they had hit my bank account today for $1.95 so I called (800) 648-9977 and the lady was very nice and cancelled my membership and issued a refund. Very easy to deal with.
I also saw a $1.95 charge to my credit card from from these folks. It was somehow related a purchase from Shari's Berries? Their Privacy statement, http://www.berries.com/custserv/customerservicemain.jsp?cid=2, has the following web sites listed as part of the same parent company:
Good work tracking down these criminals. We ordered from Cherry Moon Farms in May and immediately got hit with a $1.95 charge and then monthly $14.95 charges. Up until now I thought it was our Maryland EZ Pass account (electronically pays tolls on highways and bridges on the East Coast) as the description was EZSVER RW ID052269092 800-355-1837 MD
