800-445-4659

I am a staying home mom with a small child, and these people have been calling us for weeks 5 times a day. It's really annoying. The caller Id says 800 SERVICE. When I answer they hang up and call again in an hour or so. Our phone company wants money to have this number blocked. It is so unfair. I don't know who they are, and need to pay to have them blocked? No Way.

I get the same call at 4 pm and 9 pm.  This has been happening for the past 2 months and I am fed up.  My phone provider said that it was Appleby Windows but could not give me any other info.  I have submitted a "harassing phone call" report.

I started getting this phone call on my cell phone.  It's ridiculous.  I don't answer unless I know who it is, but it's done it three or four times in the past few hours.

They keep calling my phone number too. For the past couple of weeks they have been calling, usually numerous times daily, but once I answer they don't say a word they just hang up. I am really becoming irritated with this number. If anyone knows who this number is please try to get it stopped. They call all the time, at weird times, and it is a bit creepy.

These people are unreal. 800 Service claims they are several companies, this number I am unsure of, but get it at my house, the other number is coming from Grad Service (loan company). They ask for my 8 yr old son, so I hand him the phone and they hang up, they also ask for my wife... yes your wife has went online and... um no she hasn't. They are very rude and claim you have to answer each number/call and ask to be removed, that is crap! I have started logging each call and number and time, I alerted my phone company and they cant block 800# but gave me a number for harassing calls, I also added my name to the national do not call list, within 30 days it is illegal for most telemarketers to call me. If you want to have fun, pick a fight with them, they are stupid enough to stay on the phone... some other numbers are: 866-472-3562 - 877-266-4203 - 888-304-6802

They keep calling our home too, sometimes twice a day and have been for the past few weeks.  I've just called the number back and I get a recording of a man's voice, doesn't sound like a legit business to me.  They've never left a message, but hang up half-way thru my voice mail recording.  I've left a voice mail for them asking that they stop calling my home number and take us off our list and I expect it to happen immediately!  Maybe we should call that number back at weird hours and bother them too?  Just a thought.

This number has been calling with several other numbers as well. They either hang up when they get the machine, or as soon as I answer, they hang up.

Today my step dad finally answered the phone when the number called and it turns out the company was Appleby Windows....my parents entered a contest to win a "free" patio, and they have been calling nonstop since.

I would recommend not doing anything with that company if their methods is to harrass those whose info they obtain. I can only say that they must have gotten my number by the address since I live with my parents, because they were calling my cell phone and I dont give that number out.

I've been receiving at least two calls a day.

A message was left yesterday (Fri, 30 Mar 2007).  Higher pitched voice mumbling about a wrong number.

This morning, a woman started speaking as soon as the answering machine picked up.  She said "This is Gloria," and hung up when she realized realized the machine had picked up.

After a little Internet searching, I did find an 800 reverse-number lookup at http://inter800.com/.  It identifies the caller as:

They called me hung up for monthes,  The problem was they were calling a Goverment owned Cell phone.  Appleby may have a bigger problem than they think in the next few monthes.  I beleive they are currently under investigation  for other activities in the York Harrisburg, PA area.

I've been getting the same calls for a number of weeks now and no one ever answers if I decide to pick up. I put myself on the national do not call list and hopefully that helps. I am in the Baltimore area and I'm figuring that the rest of you guys are around this region as well.

I have also been getting this call for a couple of months. It's always at night and they always hang up. When I try to call back It sounds like a cell phone voicemail..("the person you have tried to reach is unavailable, please leave a message.") I thought I was on the Do Not Call list. Maybe these people are harassing the "Do Not Call" people.

I just realized I did put in to win a contest for windows at BJ's wholesale. When they called I told them I wasn't interested. Maybe they are just call me because I said I wasn't interesed and to annoy??

I entered a contest on winasunroom.com and now I am getting the same calls as everyone else! The guy left a message the 4th time saying something VERY disturbing. The worst part is that I gave my address, etc. When I looked up the phone #-it came up Jantek Industries in Medford NJ.The guy sounds like a legitimate psycho! Be warned DO NOT Enter that contest!!!!!!!!!

I too have been getting this phone call on my cell in the baltimore area - they've called 4 times already tonight! usually it's only twice a day..

I have been getting calls from the 800-701-0155 number
I called them back and its some company trying to sell some free vacation.  They even knew my full name which I didn't know they could get

I just told them "not interested" and I hope they stop calling me

Oh Jeez, NOT another 800 number calling again? I'm getting pretty sick of this sh*t. Theez people are ruthless and could care less about the so called
"DO NOT CALL" rules.
Pretty soon, I'm gonna be paying the extra $4.50 monthly charge for DND (DO NOT DISTURB) which is not much of an alternative. It should be FREE!
Just a note, to other folks out there getting these annoying calls:
REPORT them to your phone company! Each phone company has a different method, look it up in your phone book. I did contact my phone co. and they said something like, "we can't take action against these people unless they call you at least 5 times a day" or something to that effect. Imagine that! We are already getting called 1,2,3 times a day!  
Something's gotta be done.

Appleby Window Systems.  Even if you solicited them for an estimate, this is their M.O.: They don't leave messages, and don't bother calling back the 800#..it's some sort of central trunking line or something that no human answers.  Their direct office number is 800-767-0200.  

You may also be getting calls from them if put a generic request at websites like servicemagic.com, etc., where contractor searches are aggragated and sent out to a database of potential suppliers (in this instance, Appleby).

We have been getting these calls from 800-445-4659 about every other day. They try to call 3-4 times a day at times. Thank god for caller id. I never answer unknown or 800 calls but I get irritated. At first I answered a few times to find a delay and no one there so I'm done answering.
