SCAM!!!  I just received a call from this number.  It was a woman with an accent claiming she was with Windows and said there is an issue with my computer software that she can see is not operating properly on their end.  When I was skeptical and  asked her who specifically she is, she said she can verify my product authorization code to prove she is with Windows and that only me and Windows would have that number.  She asked me to click on the Windows flag on my keyboard and hold it down, while typing RR.  She said after I do this, she will verify that she has the same software code.  When I refused, she said she would get her technician on the phone to verify her identity.  She literally handed the phone to a man  ... no putting me on hold, nothing.  He came right on (accent as well) and told me to listen to him.  This is when I said "no ... I'm not doing anything to my computer!  I don't know who you are".  I then hung up.  This is some type of SCAM to get you to change settings in your computer potentially exposing your info.
I only picked up the phone because they had attempted to call 3 times earlier but it disconnected after the first ring.

Just received a call from 800-453-2156 saying they were from windows.  We use a different company.  They wanted access to our computer, Told them no and hung up.

Called me eight times in 5 hours. No message.

6 calls since 10:30 this morning.  I have blocked them, but still see when they call.

The minute the guy asked me to go to my computer and type in a website and enter some code, I acted like I did it then asked him why the hell was he calling me from Chino State Prison? Then I asked him if there was a very tall fence around his business and asked him what kind of detention center was he in? He asked me to go to a specific website and I said "hold on, I need both hands to type." I then put down the phone and walked away....

They have been calling like crazy,kind of figured they were a scam cause they called at 6 this morning.

Did not answer. Scam called at 6:45 am

Person with heavy accent called yesterday evening saying he was with Microsoft operating systems.  Hung up.  Got another call this morning at 5:30 am. When I answered, no one responded.

Called this morning and was blocked.  I called back.  Free medical alert system scam.

Called a couple times in less then 20 hours and I told them to take me off there list and to not call me again both times. I could barely understand them man and woman with the think accent telling me they are form Microsoft. I'm sure glad I looked up there number and I no longer feel bad for being rude just a few moments ago when I got my last call seeing as this is a scam. Such scum bags.

Called me at 441 am and then again at 7 am. It's a Saturday morning!

They called at 6:23 am. Husband answered as he is on call 24/7. When they started talking he just hung up. Really 6:23 on a Saturday morning.

Caller ID: 1-800-453-2156 "800 Service":  Woman with heavy Asian-Indian-like accent called saying she was calling from "Micro-Soft Windows" and received information that my computer is at "high-risk" and calling me to work on the problem...She handed the phone over to a man who also had a similar accent. I played along because I've received calls from these people before and knew it was a scam...I asked who they wanted to speak to,...they did not have a name (TG). I stalled and wasted as their time as long as possible...they gave me commands and I pretended not to understand...they caught on...I reported them to my phone service provider and reported them to DoNotCall.gov too! THESE ARE IDENTITY THIEVES PRETENDING TO BE WITH MICROSOFT WINDOWS...DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO ON YOURSELF or COMPUTER!!! REPORT THEM TO YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER!! I'M ALSO CALLING MICROSOFT AND ALERTING THEM OF THE FRAUD!!!

This is a SCAM originating somewhere in Asia or the Middle East. Woman called claiming to be with MicroSoft Windows and calling about alerts they're receiving on my pc. Clearly a scam to gain access to personal info! Waste as much of their time as you possibly can, then block them & report them. FAKE MICROSOFT WINDOWS TECH CALL!

I got called from this number on my landline same story they said they were calling from Windows. I asked where they got my number and was told from 411.com. But yet he said he knew I was on my computer, was actually fixing breakfast. Scammer to get personal information.

The caller is very persistent and keeps calling, but is BLOCKED now.  They need to be stopped.

This guy called me 5:00 AM in the morning！
Looks like they didn't know the local time

Received two calls within an hour where caller hung up after a few seconds of silence.  My phone number has been on the Do Not Call List since 2007.
