no message as call was rejected as ID was unknown  all unknown calls are rejected, blocked and reported.

Wow what a deal! 800 numbers are not only free but now they even call you and save you the trouble of dialing. I didn't even know I wanted that. I didn't answer it and they didn't leave a message.

Wanted to fix my computer... Said I didn't have one ...was incredulous ... Could hardly understand him

Called to try to fix my computer. Got rude and was hardly speaking English, when I asked if I could speak to his supervisor the English got worse. I have no idea who they are but when I called back it was about a medical alert system.

Had call, Indian accent, wanting to get into my computer. I  Hung up...

Caller id was TOLL FREE CALL  Call was blocked by the roboguy

Heavy India accent, hard to understand.  Said My Computer Notified them that malware was downloaded onto my computer and they were calling me to tell me and fix my computer.   To confuse him, I asked 'which computer' and he abruptly said 'your HOME computer' and that i needed to be in front of it and turn it on.  With that, i hung up.

Kate's message is the first useful one here.  I took too long (calling up this page) while answering, when I did I heard that VERY common female recorded voice saying "Goodbye".  Caller ID = "Toll Free Call".

Illegal spoofed call, and illegal spoofed call = SCAM.  Didn't answer (I NEVER answer calls from unfamiliar numbers).  Blocked this number.

thick accent, a little difficult to understand, sounded like India or that part of the world ... said there was a problem with my computer that needed to be fixed ... I told him I wasn't at home at the moment, didn't have access to my computer, and would call him back ... actually I was home, but I know for a fact there's nothing wrong with my computer, and even if there was I'd never let a total stranger access it ... needless to say, I didn't call him back ... obviously a scam

Our answering machine received the call.  No message was left.

The caller had a heavy Indian accent and said he was from Windows Technical Support.  I told him I don't have a Windows computer and I quickly hung up. Scam.

CID did now show anything but calling number. let it go to voice mail and all I got was "good buy". Yep, good buy to you as you are blocked forever thanks to the posts here on 800notes. This number is number 185 in my blocked number list. Have a grand day mates.

I told him he had reached me at my desk in the Fresno IRS service center Fraud Division.  He quickly hung up.

I continue get a call from someone wanted to help fix my computer.  I tell them I need no help and to remove me from their call list.
They become very rude, call me a liar and persist.  I do not know the company that is calling they just say they are calling about my Microsoft system on my computer.

The old microsoft scam. let me log onto your computer and steal all your information. I play the moron for awhile. HIs english was so bad I was having a hard time playing him. Turn on your computer. Which one I have 4. Your main one. I don't have a main one. OK is your computer on. Which one. Your main one. Finally tired of playing games with him and told him exactly what I thought of him and hung up. I've called back several times and told whoever it was that answered the phone what I thought of them. Kinda fun. Drop down menu needs a selection for SCAMMER

I heard that was the beat thing. Waste their time. Don't just hang up that does them a favor. But waste their time so they can't scam anyone else..eap old people. Karma will get these people. They are trying to logon and steal your info....

Called and said he was responding to my request for help from Windows.  I had requested technical assistance from my daughter's homeschool computer department and thought it was them. I questioned his identity and he said yes he was from the school. After he got access to my computer I noticed he did not answer my original inquiry which was help with the microphone. At that point I became suspicious I closed all his windows that he had opened and unplug my computer. He admitted after that that he was not from the school and apologized I hung up. This is a scam.

When I answered a recorded voice said "goodbye."  There was a lot of muffling sound for about 4 seconds and then disconnected.
