Same here--got the number off the caller ID. No idea who they are or what they want.

It's a bill collection agency, Capital Management, that doesn't play fair. Their representatives are vile and viscious. They don't believe anything that a debtor says, even when the debtor is trying to cooperate. My sister had a recent experience with one rep, who kept insisting that my sister, who tried to make payment arrangements with them, write them a check. She kept telling them that she doesn't have the ability to write checks because her bank will only allow her to cash checks, deposit and withdraw money for one year until she proves herself. Then she can start getting and writing checks. This call left my sister in tears.

I had to have my phone number changed to an unlisted one over two weeks ago, due to their and two other bottom feeders harassing calls over a four month period looking for people I don't even know. If our government won't control them, I will!

Got a call trying to collect an a past due bill. When I explained I had no idea what it was and asked for 'original documentation'(which they have to provide if asked for) she rudely said "It was opened by you and you can see it on your credit report." When I said I was going to check into the past due account before giving her any money over the phone. She rudely said, "Fine we'll just verify your employment. Thank you and Goodbye." She then hung up on me. I called back to finish explaining I am a full time student and only work one day a week and to complain how rude she was and that she hung up on me, but I was transferred to another extension where I went straight to voice mail. Left a message, but haven't gotten a call back yet.

strange, I have had 2 calls from them in the past few months. I have not answered but when I have a chance to call back it says that the call cant be completed at this time... I dont have any collection accounts so I dont know whats up.

They kept calling and I happened to be home one day when they called.  I answered and they asked for some person I don't know and have never heard of.  I told them they have the wrong number.  They quoted the number to me and I said yes but this number does not belong to the person they are looking for anymore.  We have not had the number more than 3 or 4 months.  They did not beleive me.  They keep calling and I keep telling them and they say they'll take my number off the contact list but apparently they still havent done it.  I put my number into whitepages.com and did a reverse lookup.  It comes up with the persons name they are looking for.  I'm not sure how to fix this.  They are pretty rude when they call.

You may want to rethink that. If you disconnected your number and got a new one. If you actually owe an account that Cap Mgmt is working, they will most likely do the following: Calling any old numbers listed to you from previous years, including your parents number! (Legal). They may also call neighbors trying to get your new number and/or trying to get them to pass you a message. (Shady, but not illegal).

If you owe them something, just send them a registered letter stating you want no more phone calls to yourself, friends, neighbors or family - and that all further correspondence can be by mail only. If they do call someone after receiving a regsitered letter, you can sue them. It's not often worth the humiliation however.

Problem is, if you cut off communication with them, they will just sell your paper to someone else which will start the whole process over again...

I answered a ringing phone.  An automated message from Capital Asset Management asked that I call immediately, and that this was not a solicitation.  I called back.  It rang and rang and rang; after about 3 minutes I went to someone's personal phone.

Phone number just on caller id:  1-800-463-9316.  If this is a collection agency, they are conning me - I don't owe them or anyone to warrant an agency.

These people are idiots, they leave a message about an important business matter, sorry but my message reads state your name and your business or do not leave a message, so number will be blocked.
I never respond to these Fools,  whoever they are.

They just keep calling. I think I have more than more one number from them.  I'm also on the "do not call" list.

When the revolution comes, these people will be eliminated.

I don't owe one red cent to anybody in this world but these PARASITES still call me. There will be an armed conflict in this country soon and these scumbags will eliminated for their crimes. Our pathetic joke of a government doesn't want to enforce the laws so we have to.

These people are nothing but scammer's in my opinion. They keep calling my house for some girl named Stephanie. There is no Stephanie who lives here. I have told them numerous times to take me off the call list. I asked the girl who just called about 10 minutes to go if I could speak to the supervisor. She was very disrespectful. She refused to let me speak to the supervisor because I did not have an account with them. Then hung up on me after 2 minutes of arguing with me I then called back and talked to someone else and learned my number was finally taken off the call list. If they call again i'm going to tell them exactly where they can shove it. If my number is actually taken off I will be so happy. If that is the case then all you have to do is arguing with them and keep saying you want to speak to a supervisor. Play back at there own game. Be ignorant, nasty, and complete pricks like they are. Your number should be taken off.

This number - 800-463-9316- was identified on my caller ID as Capital Management Services.  Here's the deal: The law firm of Cloud & Tidwell is using this and other numbers to collect debts. Their information is below:

I sent them a certified letter, return receipt requested, ordering them to stop calling me. I received the signed card back, so I know the above information is correct. Under the FDCPA, any debt collector you send a "I deny this debt, stop calling me me about it" letter to can call you one more time only, telling you if they are going to take any action against you and how they are going to do it (if at all).
