- Julie DI don't know who this is. I have Sprint and so I went in today and blocked all these numbers that have been calling me. What I am gathering is that you've either gone to a mortgage related website, lowermybills.com, or a college finding site and that is where all these people are buying your numbers from. If you have the ability to block it, I would do so, since nothing else seems to stop them and they call multiple times a day.
- Democracy_Doctor| 1 replyOK guys a little research here: this is a toll-free number used by multiple credit unions, for their customers to activate their credit and debit cards. It is not a customer service line and I have not received incoming calls from the number. "Christianfinancialcu.com" is one credit union that uses this number for activations.
- swuzycredit card activation number
- Linda replies to Democracy_DoctorI also use this number to activate new CU cards. No incoming calls from this number.
- wcrsmiles| 1 replyI activated my CC and was transferred to a person for a $100 gift card. He said he was with the "Rewards Center National Advisors" from Charlottesville, VA. He read off the all the places I could use the card and a statement about being monitored by the Better Business Bureau and some other regulation. When I asked to see his companies information on line, he again read the form. He wanted my name, address, and to charge my credit card $5. Again, I asked for the information in writing. He proceeded to get loud and tell me I haven't let him finish. He read again the same statement. I said I don't want it read to me I want to read it. He began yelling at me, telling me I wasn't paying attention that I would receive all that information after I gave him my CC number. In a calm voice, I said, I will not be giving you my CC until I can get that information. Please give me the information first and I will gladly give my CC number. He then yelled that I no longer qualified for the program and had lost a $100 and hung up on me.

- Give 'em a call replies to wcrsmilesI'd like to STRONGLY suggest you call your credit card company using the number on the BACK of the card. Please do not use any other number. Tell them exactly what you wrote here. The fact that you called that number to activate your card is worrying.
- ChrisCredit card activation line. Had to call to activate my new Credit card. They did not call me.
