They called and asked for a former brother-in-law whom we haven't been in contact with for over 10 years saying it was very important that they speak with him but would not disclose what company they worked for. She would tell me what was so important, name of her company, or any useful info.  Would only say she was calling from Springfield, Illinois.  When asked how she got our number she said that we were listed as a reference, specifically a relative, for somebody who hasn't been a relative for 9 years.  Call and harrass Crystal for us at 800-473-7885 ext. 3545.

I also got a call from this number and it is a collection agency. When I called her back, she was very secretive and told me that she was getting information on a GM vehicle that we owned. We never had such a vehicle. Then she said that "Elisha" with my last name owned the vehicle and it had been repossessed. She asked me who "Elisha" was and I told her I hadn't a clue.  She said she would remove my information. I had to tell her that I wouldn't do business with a telemarketer before she told me that she wasn't a telemarketer and that they were a collection agency.  I think they were trying to get more info out of me and I wonder about the legitimacy of this company.

just got a call from this number ext 3485, she said her name was Dominic. she said it was gmac and that i owed for a car in 98. Told her i havent a clue but she insisted she would call me back to harass me if i dont pay her a little over $3,000. I called this number back moments later to see if it was gmac, and it wasnt. I asked the gir what company this was and she said CCB. i figured it must be a collection agency picking up old gmac accounts and they are trying to get money.

Just got a call from these people.  I played the "not home" card because I smelled something fishy when I saw the caller ID register Out of Area.  So I took the message and came to the computer to do a reverse look-up.  Very interesting what you find online!  Thanks for the warning everybody.  They should take people like this and shoot them point blank.  No mercy!

first of all, i am a bill collector. nothing fishy you idiot....pay your bills and you wouldn't have to worry about a collector calling you. what is funny to me, you get mad at us calling. get mad at your irresponsible self. and as far as trying 2 convince an 80 year old woman to pay your brothers bill. she probably cosigned jerk. think about things. we are professional collectors, with families just like you.  i would love to spend time with my kid on saturday rather than tracking your stupid self down. pay your bills loosers

exactly you gave acct info for something you owe.  we are under federal law and guidlines that prevent us from taking more out of your account that what you agree to.

Generally the same thing. They kept calling my boyfriends parents house and I decided to call the number back myself to see who answered.  I thought it odd that I called the number back and a girl answered the phone by only saying "Hello."  (No business formality).  I just hung up and then googled the number.  Based on other comments it makes sense because my boyfriend actually just resently had his GMAC vehicle reposessed as well, so I'm sure that's what it has to do with.

Perhaps if you had recieved a proper education, or applied yourself in a real career field, you wouldn't be working on Saturday's earning a small hourly wage. ya i work there and the reason you are being called is because you didnt pay your bill. if you would have been responsible and paid it then your account would have never been sent to collections. so do what you want but collection calls will continue. so there .

i got a call from 800-473-7885 . i talked to a nice young lady and she helped me take care of my debt and settled it out cause i needed to get it taken care of. she was nice and gave me options on how to take care of this. i wish more collectors where as nice as her.
