Caller refused to identify themselves and requested that their number be given to a 3rd party.

We had the same experience.  They were very cryptic and acted as if the third party was in trouble.  Would not identify themselves.

They call and leave us messages every day.  Up to three times a day even and say "It is very important that you return our phone call immediately.

Calls are coming from Bob Miller, Kelly, John.  Do not know what they are calling about.

Messages left on voice mail saying "it's very important that you return this call".

Received continuous calls for wrong person Company was notified numerous times had wrong phone. Woman became vulgar, rued asked for company name she refused to provide. I called back asked to spk with manager or supervisor I was told that "What am I crazy, to think there would be one on duty at 9pm again I had advised if we continued to receive calls from there co. again we would pursue with legal action she slammed phn down.

These guys wont stop calling. Was rude when I said the guy you are looking for doesnt work here. "well he gave us this # to contact him, and weve called many times and he hasnt called back"  I said: "maybe he doesnt want to talk to you then"

Got a call asking for me to my parents house.  They were rude and the name they gave was "David".  When my parents refused to give them my numbers, he became even more rude.  The FTC needs to get on these people.  This is unsolicited, rude telemarketing that needs to stop.

I was told they are looking for someone with the last name "Callahan" when I called back.  They left a voicemail.  I explained that no one by that name lives here and I've had this number for 3 years.  They then read back an address that was not mine (no I didn't give mine or my name).   I requested that my number be removed from their list as it's not the first time I have been called.  The guy I talked to "David" I believe, was rude.  So was I.

I've gotten a few calls but havent answered them, look also for the number (800) 279-3733. It is an automated message telling you to call the other number.

VARIATION ON A THEME: They're calling my cell phone 3-4 times daily with an auto dialer, and they've broken the law:

The TCPA, 47 U.S.C 227 forbids use of automated dialers on cell phones, and gives you the right to sue them.

(b) Restrictions on use of automated telephone equipment
(1) Prohibitions
It shall be unlawful for any person within the United States, or any person outside the United States if the recipient is within the United States—
(A) to make any call (other than a call made for emergency purposes or made with the prior express consent of the called party) using any automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice—
(i) to any emergency telephone line (including any “911” line and any emergency line of a hospital, medical physician or service office, health care facility, poison control center, or fire protection or law enforcement agency);
(ii) to the telephone line of any guest room or patient room of a hospital, health care facility, elderly home, or similar establishment; or
(iii) to any telephone number assigned to a paging service, cellular telephone service, specialized mobile radio service, or other radio common carrier service, or any service for which the called party is charged for the call;

(3) Private right of action
A person or entity may, if otherwise permitted by the laws or rules of court of a State, bring in an appropriate court of that State—
(A) an action based on a violation of this subsection or the regulations prescribed under this subsection to enjoin such violation,
(B) an action to recover for actual monetary loss from such a violation, or to receive $500 in damages for each such violation, whichever is greater, or
(C) both such actions.
If the court finds that the defendant willfully or knowingly violated this subsection or the regulations prescribed under this subsection, the court may, in its discretion, increase the amount of the award to an amount equal to not more than 3 times the amount available under subparagraph (B) of this paragraph.

My attorney, and the office of Lori Swanson, the Minnesota Attorney General, is receiving this info and a lawsuit will soon be pending.

Just givine a refrence number to call back with.  Called back and spoke with a very freindly female.  Evidently I still owe Sprint $50 from two years ago when I canceled my phone service!!! A bill or a call would of been nice before they send me out to a collection that I was unaware of.  Oh well, all is good and I shall not hear from them again!!!

I too am recieving calls from 800-474-3743 and an automated voice is leaving messages for my ex-girlfriend who walked out on me after 8 years because she started using crank and loved it more than our relationship so I guess I'll have to call these people back and have a female friend pretend to be the [***] and I will string these 1-800 people along indefinately while screwing up the [***] credit at the same time.... win - win !!!!   LOL.

Called my mother in laws,  I told the caller I did not live at that address, and that number was not mine.  She said I own sprint 271.00,  and wanted my updated information.  I refused to give her any information,  and told her if I owed the bill they she should have my correct billing information, and besides that I paid a deposit of 200.00 that was never returned !!!!!!!!!! When I got my cell phone service with Nextel,  they had my correct information,  She then said,  that I gave my in laws phone number and address,  I told her I most certainly DID NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Makes one wonder if someone else is using my information.

I REALLY hope i wasn't just had on that.  They requested 80+ dollars for a late sprint bill from the begining of 2004.  I requested a paper copy of my "confirmation number" in the mail, and they said they would email it.  NO EMAIL, but the money is gone.  Who knows.

I have had several messages left at my work voicemail.  The guy always says something is wrong with him like "a toothache" or "a headache".

Very slimeball-y.  They're trying to collect on a Sprint account that's not mine.

machine picked up,  lisa said this message is for (ME) and it is very important that you return this call at 18004743743. i waited several minutes and called, automated answer, then prompted to dial 0 to speak to someone. i did. dc answered and i asked if this had anything to do with  a dental bill?  he said i dont think we do dental. he said is this concerning (ME) it was me. so they have caller id.i hung up.
