I get calls from these people all of the time. I am so tired of them leaving me messages. We do not owe any debts but our mortgage, which is paid monthly so I can't imagine what they want. Would love to call them, at their homes, as much as I get called.

Junk debt buyer, been getting calls for a person with a like name for years. Do not talk to these people.
Go to debtorboards. Learn how to monitor your credit. How to deal these people. You might get paid if you do it right.  And for the bottom feeder debt collector reading this post. This guy could not afford a phone
for 14 years. You need to purchase some better debts, losers!

I got a call frome This # thay were nice but short and non responsive I had to call them back to get anything out of them. Was told my # will be removed -we will see - I personally think that this type of call should be illegal . If u make a bad loan that should be your prob. Don't sell bad contracts to others to try to collect - if you get a call from these people or other socalled collection just say who or what - wrong number!!!

Unprofessional with no telephone manners.  How can you call a residence, not give your name and then state that I have a personal business with someone in your home and if you have caller idea tell them to call back at that number.  Never left a name and tried to get around not giving me a name.

I understand people are at dealing with financial hardship, but professionalism is still required.  Companys would receive more answers if they treated people with respect and not as a dollar sign.

I keep getting calls from these people.  I don't answer.  I have no mortgage, NO credit card balance, no car payments.  NO LOANS.  I own all my possessions.  I complained to the FCC.  They were NO HELP.

Another useless governmental agency.  Only in America.

Junk-debt buyer to collect on a debt allegedly owed by someone with a name similar to mine. I actually have zero debt and high 700 credit rating. Because this is a junk-debt buyer and true to that business model, they operate on the assumption (by pretending) that they are right and that you are lying. Incredibly even shockingly rude people who have no concern whatsoever by the rules they should operate by under debt-collection law, and every word you speak trying to communicate with these people is wasted; they will never, ever stop calling.

Add them to your blocked calls list if your phone provider has that, or use a call blocker app. Panasonic and Uniden sell phones will call blockers if you need more blocked numbers, or you can forward all your calls to a Google Voice account, which automatically classifies this caller as a spam caller and you'll never be pestered again.

Stop this caller from calling my home.  I have no idea who they are and we certainly don't owe them anything.

No one else reading this page can ''stop this caller'' on your behalf. It's *your* job to police *your* phone traffic. You will need to give your orders *directly* to Van Ru, preferably via USPS Certified with return card to preserve your rights.

Kucharik and Case: Whining here that you "do not want another call" does nothing to make it the debt collector's problem to obey. Your callers do not maintain this site or this web page. Your callers cannot magically determine which numbers should not be called based on anonymous comments.

To a ''not me'' case I always recommend putting the agency on notice, just as you would if you were the target and the debt claim was invalid. Send a ''cease-communication'' notice via USPS Certified with return card. This is the method promoted by the FTC and many consumer watchdogs, and the best way to set a legal landmine, as such a notice is ignored at their risk of a lawsuit from you. You may already be due some payback if you can prove you've endured abusive or misleading treatment in an effort to collect debt.

Whether you are called a debtor or some collector thinks you can flush one out, you have rights and options. Many are simple to exercise if you only learn how. You are granted control of how you are contacted, the right to dispute debt claims, and the means to sue violators at low cost. The FTC and the CFPB can start you on your homework. See also if your state laws grant additional or stronger rights.

Most phone companies have a call blocker that you can selectively block a certain number from calling you. I have BrightHouse and I do it online.
Ask your service provider if they offer this option.

The correct federal agency to contact regarding this agency is the FTC.  You can lodge a formal complaint online at www.ftc.gov and leave them with as much information as you can gather on this agency.  Once an investigation is opened on the agency, you probably will not be hearing from them again.
