My bills are paid, don't call me again. or here from my attorney, you have wrong number

A persistent female caller sounding very pushy starts out by saying "This is not a sales call"  She gives no information whatever on her name or the business's name, just an extention: 4000.  She goes on to say I have important business with her I may not be aware of.  

I know it must be something sneaky and perhaps illegitimate when they cannot even announce who they are/what the business is.

They are using a trap line, when you call them back they trap your caller ID information even if you have bloacked caller ID. Then they can find your emplyer or home or cell number. So don't call the number back!

Have had 2 calls from these idiots & have not called them back.  Same deal - no identifying info, just some pushy woman.

Pushy woman, "you have business with this office".  No identifying information whatsoever.

They called me at work using the HelpDesk line, not my extension (so they could have used our own 800 number or the direct line, I don't know).  "Lynn" called saying that I had business with them I may not be aware of.  The number I was given was 1-800-491-9748 ext. 4000.   She didn't swear, but her tone of voice in the pre-recorded message was rude.  On my caller ID, the number listed was 6024453833

Does anyone know if I can still report this, even if it's not a cell phone?

I just got a message from these guys too.  A loud mouth woman, "Trina", said that I have some business with them and that this is not a sales call.  I listened to the message several times and could not make out the company name.

people please if your being called you own someone money, if not then they may have a wrong number, stop ducking and find out why they call.

Dunstone Financial LLC called me looking for someone that I haven't seen in months.  My phone number is in my name and I told them to stop calling but some guy name Matt (he won't give his last name) said he will continue to call if he wants and will even call me on the phone I was using to call them back which was my cell phone.   I am not the person he is trying to collect on . I am going to exercise my public right by invoking Public Law 95-109 Section 805-C and submit in writing to them (which legally is the only way to get them to stop calling) a Cease Letter that under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act they have to cease all communication with me after receiving the letter.  This has to be mailed certified with return receipt.  I am contacting my annoyance department at my local phone company to place a trap on my phone to keep record of these calls for when I I file (if I have to file) and for each call I receive after the receipt of the cease letter, the fine is $1000 per call in small claims court.  To follow that up I am also filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at www.ftc.org,  I am also filing a complaint with Arizona's attorney general, Terry Goddard and my state's, South Carolina, attorney general, Henry McMaster.  I am filing with Phoenix Better Business Bureau and mailing a copy of the cease letter to their attorney of record, Charley Laman, which he was just in court April 9th on a case where someone is suing Dunstone and having to go through mediation. I am just warming us and this list can go on.  I have practiced law for the past 12 years.  If I owed a debt (which I do not), then I could understand.  But I got a taste of this malicious individual Matt.  The recorded messages are harassing enough.  I am going to enjoy this.  There is nothing he can do to me because I am not the one with the debt.  But I am sure going to do something to them to make their lives a little uncomfortable for a change.

Thank you for the information. I just got a call from them for someone else that gave my number as a REFERENCE.  When I told them that the person doesn't live here they got very rude. This person called herself Helen. I called back the number 602-445-3833 and talked to a Matt and then a Luke.  Again thanks for the info.

They called me this evening looking for someone I hadn't seen in several YEARS. I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with "Matt" as well, and then "TJ Kohgadai" if that is in fact his real last name. I am certain that "Matt" and "TJ" are one in the same person, or at least were for this call. I insisted on speaking with a supervisor after being threatened ("Now you're going to be getting calls too!" Matt said when I insisted on speaking with his manager) and this is who they gave me. Absolutely belligerent are the only words I can use to describe them both. I taped the calls, after saying I was doing so, to which TJ replied "great that you're taping the calls!" So last I checked I think that means they're able to be used in court if need be. I filed with the ftc as well, and plan on also following in the rest of your thoughtfully detailed footsteps. I am amazed they're not shut down. The number they called me from was 489-282-4061.

Message left on my answering machine stating their was business they had to talk about and that if I didnt call back they would keep calling and the recording of this guy was very rude. So I called the number at the same time I was googling it to see where it was from and found all these complaints similar to mine. I talked with this punk Matt and he wanted my name and I told him no and he asked if I was hiding anything and then he wanted to know why I was hesitant on giving my name in which I didnt and I told him to F OFF and not to call again. Hes lucky he doenst get his face knocked in.

I got a sneaky call on my home phone and then my cell phone. I did not return the call on my home line then I got a call and she asked for Cheryl which I am not and proceeded to use up my cell time fishing for info. I had to just hang up. Next time someone asks me for a fictional person my only responce will be "wrong number" and immediate hang up.

some pushy guy left a msg saying that i can reach him directly at the 800 number didnt let me know his name company name or any identifying information just that i was expected to be heard from called from 14803025787 and wanted me to call 18004919748

I had a voice mail demanding I call back urgently. 800-491-9748 Ext 4331.  Come to find out the it was about a debt discharged from a bankrupcy over 10 years ago.  I gave the RJ the date of discharge and he continued to harrass me on the phone about the debt.  I did let him know I do know my rights.  I have contacted my attorney regarding this matter because in this case, They are not allowed to come back after its been discharged in a backrupcy.

They called us at home three months ago and I called them back to have them take off the list. The lady said we won't receive the call anymore. Welllll...they called yesterday and today also. Caller ID number showed 480-282-4631 and then message said Marcus has important message to discuss. Supposedly Marcus asked to call at 800-491-9748. I don't know if I want to since they failed to take us off their list. Sad thing is the last time they called they said they were looking for someone we didn't know. This company should definitely be shut down from the officials/government.

Thanks for all info.  I received a msg from Marcus to call back. Very cold voice bordering on rude with no name of who he was calling or who he was with. I have no debts.  Msg deleted.
