- Bill| 2 repliesThis guy left a voice message saying he was "Investigator Hill" but did not state the name of any law enforcement agency. He said he was calling about a certain case number and that someone "must" return his call today. Caller ID showed "Unavailable." Google can't identify the number.
- Caller: Unknown
- caro replies to BillI have recieved the same message twice and now I have a person on line asking to call back that number. He says he is from the Law Enforcement Bureau (that doesn't exist according to google). He tries to reach a guy called Harrison I think. I won't answer back, this is for sure a trap!
- Shawn| 1 replyI just got a call from the same number. Automated call. Called themselves Warranty Enforcement Services and was directed to press 9 to be connected to a representative for further info. I pressed 9 and the call was dropped by the caller.
- Caller: Warranty Enforcement Services
- ValerieJust as the others, I received a call today (3 actually) from someone saying that they were inspector Quick. He said that I had two tickets in Robertson County and that I needed to call him immediately. I called him back and he told me that I owed $838 for a ticket and Failure to Appear. He explained to me that I could either pay the money or that he would call the city tomorrow and tell them to issue a warrant. Then the city would transfer the warrant to the city that I live in and I would be arrested (that is not legal and would not be possible). I told him that I would contact a lawyer and get back to him. This is a scam!!!! The previous poster listed the same phone number and extension that I called back and the caller ID was different as well. He claimed to be in Bremond when he called me. He called three times and two numbers came up on my caller ID.
- Shawn replies to ShawnReplying to myself.

- JR replies to JRHey it's JR again. I called the number above of 1-800-501-6340 X7119 and spoke with D.D. Louis. when she answered the phone, She asked for my name. I refused to give it to her. I then asked her what type of business she worked for. She began stuttering and started sounding unprofessional.. I then asked her what type of business she ran. she said they were in Dallas County and delt with tickets, fines, repo's. i hung up on her. i'm not delinquent on anything. She then called me back and said it had to do with my vehicle and my credit union. I called my Credit Union and they are aware of this scam.
- enxoGit a call today, same as those described below. Sounds strongly like a scam.. They need my help in solving a case, according to robo message...
- Caller: Law Enforcement Bureau
- dre| 1 replyI believe this is the Warrant Enforcement Bureau, they call and leave recordings. They are hired by police departments to collect on traffic tickets, like a bill collector/skip tracer. Perhaps someone you know or someone in your family has a warrant they have not been picked up for... and you have not renewed your drivers license... its harder to find you.
- Jason replies to BillI got a call from this same number and I checked into with the Better Buisness Beauru and the AG and they are a real agency and I called the courts in Wilmer and they said yes this is a real company who works for them and the courts told me if I didn't pay I would go to jail. I didn't believe them so I didn't pay and sure enough 3 days later I was sitting in jail in the city of Wilmer because some guy named Investigator York called and told them where I was. So this company is real.
- RichKeep placing calls.
- Jessi| 2 repliesI started getting calls from these guys a month ago about two tickets I got 5 years ago (and paid). They accused me of not paying and said they would put a warrant out for my arrest. When I asked for the paperwork and gave my address, they sent nothing and started calling again recently. I don't live in Texas, so trying to research these people, or if I do have outstanding tickets, is very difficult.
- Jessi replies to JessiI contacted the Wilmer municipal courts; apparently these guys are legit. They use the "Warrant Enforcement Buerou" as a collection agency, but things do get back to the actual police department.
And they are relentless!! When I said I wanted to check them out, they located my mother and scared her into paying them $787 before I had the chance to call them back! - DatDudeYes when I called and inquired about my traffic tickets in Wilmer they gave me this number to call. When I called the tickets that I owe went up by $300 which I beleive is the "INVESTIGATORS" own added price. Im calling them tomorrow and telling them that Im only paying what The City of Wilmer says I owe and nothing else. If it dont work I will be gladly going to jail..lol

- D.H.I have received several "threatening" sounding phone calls from this number by someone claiming the name "Investigator Quick" who has been kind enough to demand my name and telephone number so that the "Investigator handling my case" may get back with me on Monday. When asked the name of the business I was simply told they were the Law Enforcement Division. I asked "division of what intity?" Again, I was assured that the Investigator in charge of my case would contact me straight away monday. I may very well have an unpaid ticket, for which I am happy to sit out in jail since I have no money, however, what ever happened to out "Law Enforcement" Departments and Judicial Courts having to uphold to standards and practices much higher than a common con-man/street thug/horse-trader? At what point do we start demanding honesty and integrety from those hired and elected to "Protect and defend OUR Constitutional Rights? There are laws and things called Ammendments to the Constitution and a little remembered document known as the Bill of Rights, that I thought, were supposed to-to some degree-protect our privacy, freedom, right to the pursuit of happieness, etc. It seems, rather, that as those countries once behind the "Iron Curtain" adopt and nurture democracy, we seem to be picking up the habbits and practices of the likes of KGB and SS. I agree, the compairison may be slightly extreem, but really, where does the dishonestly and misleading business practices stop? Whats next, Waterboarding, stress-sessions, bindings, caining, entering a residence without a warrant-just upon a hunch? And for what? Money. In the 1920's and 30's they started calling these practices Raquetiering and consperacy. I refuse to pay one red cent to a Collection Agency who so blatenly has set out to mislead and intimidate. I would be happy to discuss my "case" with a Judge, Prosicutor, Constible, or Justice of the Peace. If I have infracted the law in such a greedgious manner, then I suppose I should have my day to face my accusers and the opportunity to work it out, peacefully, in accordance to applicable laws and judgements.
By the way, Police Department and Courts don't make phone calls to talk about your warrants--they'd hate to give up the suprize of meeting you face to face at your front door.- Caller: Law Enforcement Division
- infuriatedAre these people certified or legalized to threaten innocent people. I had a neighnot try tracking me down because she had received a call asking for her name, literally by her first name, and asking who lived at such and such address and who all lived there. Is this a census or what the hell are people scaming about now. My neighbor doesn't deserve to be intimidated or harrassed or asked 1000 questions on what ever they feel like asking. So Investigator Hunter whoever the hell you are you better be certified or legit because I am looking for you.

- maezerI got a speeding ticket in Texas back in 2004. These people are a collection agency that was hired by the municipality to collect moneys owed. I talked to an "investigator" once (his name escapes me) and he pulled the whole "I can have your PA drivers license suspended" bull. I told him to do it and hung up. I have been getting sporadic calls from this number ever since. I ignore them and normally I get a voicemail saying "the warrant enforcement bureau needs your help in solving a case...". Get a life. This is a collection agency at it's best; very persistant. Anyway, they can come up to PA for their $200 if they want it that bad.

- KimArmstead| 5 repliesThis is a copy of a letter that I sent to the Dept of Justice. As citizens we need to do something to stop evil from prevailing.
A Mr. Cross called me from the Warrant Enforcement (Division?) Bureau on 1/29/10 telling me that the City of Hutchins had warrants for my arrest in the amount of $700. If I made a $100 payment, he would have all the warrants lifted immediately. Under duress, I borrowed $100 and made a payment. This Cross person said that he would be calling me in a month for me to make another payment. The payment taken from my credit card was $110, which I called an inquired about. They claimed that it cost $10 to process my credit card payment.
Today, 2/15/10, a Ms. Stacy called demanding that I make a payment, saying that my payment had been due on Friday 2/12/10. I told her I had just made a payment 2 weeks ago and that I couldn't afford another payment until I was paid again. She said that I was in violation of the payment agreement and that I was subject to be arrested at any time. When I tried to explain to her that I was not in violation, and told her that I had made an agreement with Cross to make a monthly payment, she said that he had no authority to make payment arrangements (so why did he call me?), that she was handling things now, and she had decided on a biweekly payment. Again, I would be subject to arrest at any time. She hung up in my face.
I called back to speak to a supervisor. My call was transferred to a Mr. York. I told him about the payment arrangement made with Mr. Cross and the arbitrary change and failure to pay threat made against me by Ms. Stacy. Mr. York said that my warrants now totalled $900, that again, Mr. Cross had no authority to make payment arrangements and that if I failed to abide by the agreement that Ms. Stacy had just made up today, that I would be jailed today, and that he would make sure that the days that I spent in jail would only take $50 off of the amount that I owed instead of the $100 that usually comes off (no idea what caused him to make this threat...seems illegal...no better than the threat a criminal would make..."gimme yer muney er else").
When I finally was able to borrow more money to make another payment, I asked for York, but was transferred to Stacy. After making the payment, I asked her for written confirmation of the NEW payment arrangement. She kept giving me the confirmation number for the credit card payment. I asked her if she understood what a payment arrangement was. Clearly, these people can call and threaten jail and make a change to the payment due date whenever they choose. I wanted written proof that this payment was the final arrangement that I made with these people. She hung up in my face. I called back and spoke to York (I don't believe he is a supervisor at all...if he isn't a supervisor, then he's a liar because he clearly said he was), who went right on talking about the 2 week payment arrangement ($100 every 2 weeks), and the payment that I was supposed to have made Friday, as if he couldn't hear me. If the payment amount that I originally agreed to was honored ($100), then the timeframe that I agreed to should have been honored as well. During the conversation, he had no respect at all. He didn't want me to talk over him, but had no problem talking over me. He went on and on about the agreement that I had made as if he was recording the conversation, so I made sure to continue to reiterate that I didn't make the arrangement that was now trying to enforce. Aren't these the people that are supposed to be protecting and serving us??
Needless to say, there should be some integrity in law enforcement. All 3 of these people need to be fired, since they can't even enforce the things they say from week to week, much less the law. Lying should be grounds for immediate firing. Any type of dishonesty or breach in ethics should be grounds for immediate firing. Frankly, paying money doesn't repair the law....it doesn't stop speeding, it doesn't magically change the address on your license, it doesn't magically update the registration on your car. It's just a stop gap measure so that city municipalities can employ terrorists to harrass and manipulate its citizens.
This kind of thing needs to stop. Please investigate this matter. I'm not the only one they are lying to. There is a blog online that you can locate by Googling their phone number (800 909 8706). These people are not law enforcement officers, they are simply criminals...con artists and terrorists. They are not part of any type of solution. They are the problem.
I am pleading with the Department of Justice to side with justice and righteousness. Don't continue to let criminals terrorize law abiding citizens. The devil doesn't rise to power because he is strong or powerful. He rises because men know what is right, but they won't do what's right. They just sit by and allow evil to prevail. This must stop.
