I'm getting calls from this number. Who is it? Anyone knows?

Need to know who this is.

Called on 8-21-07.  No one there when I answered, I called # back & recording only stated to "press 1 to be put on do not call list".  Sounded fishy to me. Anyone know?

This number belongs to Olympia Inc. a marketing outfit based in Conway, AR conducting phone surveys.
There website is www.olympia-inc.com.  They offer a link to get on their "internal do not call list".  I didn't go there since I'm already registered on the national do not call list.  So, I must ask, how are they getting around this?
There office number is 800-676-7600 if you would like to give them a call during business hours to ask questions.
I'm sure they would appreciate each of us calling them as often as they call us.

Wanted to take a survey and I told them I did not have time.  I am also on the national do not call list.

I have started receiving calls from this company on a nightly basis, never answer, they never leave a message.

I called the number back tonight, got a message that stated to press 1 and enter my number if I'd like to be taken off their calling list. Did so and the message said that it would take about 5 days for it to be removed. We'll see.....

I am also on the National No-Call List and would like to know how these people are getting around it.

I get this number about every other day usuallt 7PM  I am usually in bed by this time.   They leave no message on my answering machine and of course no name on caller ID

Olympia asking for donation to Special Olympics.

This is Olympia, Inc. in Conway, Arkansas.  They are a for-hire company who do surveys and will call constantly without showing a phone number.
Went to their website and got their real phone that you can call: 800-676-7600 . You can get the company with this. It's the one they use to get business.  If it's after hours, wait for them to give you the extension number and you will get a live employee on the other end who is on call at all hours.
 Let them know that this calling behavior is unacceptable - especially from an unknown caller. Calling once, even twice is one thing; calling 5 times in a row throughout the day for several days is totally WRONG!

We received a call at 9pm last night!  When we answered the phone, the woman said "hello", we said the same and then she hung up!  I'm registered on the DO NOT CALL list and wouldn't do business with ANY company who has no regard for the time at which it is calling potential customers!  I called their toll-free number 800-513-4512 and also filed a complaint for violation of the DNC list.

Call came in from 000-000-0000 I picked up receiver and pushed numbers as fast as I could. Then  hung up. Phone rang agin in a few seconds and it was 800-513-4512, picked up the receiver and they started pushing buttons. Never said a word. I called the 800-676-7600 and talked to a lady about what hey did and she took my number off their list. They make calls for special olympics and political calls.

9pm daily.  "hello, just a few short questions!"  Hang up.  On National DNC.  Now on their DNC.  Too late at night.  I work nights and this always wakes me up.  This stuff is out of control and I'm just short of cancelling my land-line.  Perhaps if enough of us do, the phone companies will stop being so greedy and put a stop to it.

Called our office in Kansas City, MO at 9am today (02/08/2010. Asked to speak with the person in charge of our community projects.  I asked her to be more specific, as we are an mechanical contracting firm.  She then told me that she was calling on behalf of Special Olympics.  I told her that the person she would need to speak with was unavailable.  She then wanted to know if it was "NAME" (a person who no longer works with our company). When she asked for the name of someone she could ask for next time she called, I simply said 'No thank you.' and hung up.  Our office gets a ton of calls from both Children's Wish Fund International and Special Olympics, even after the president of our company spoke with the manager of the call center asking them to stop calling us.  I now think little of these two non-profit organizations, and would never donate to them after their non-stop, intrusive phone calls.
