Some sort of medical coverage (MEDICARE) at no extra cost.

Claimed to be with my health insurance but could not identify the insurance company when I asked which company that they were with.

This is from Anthem or BCBS, it is a wellness program some people have attached to their plan. A general call would be to see if you want to take advantage of the benefit. You can talk to nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, and even social workers.

I was a little Leary at first but turned out that my follow up with a pharmacist let me ask about all my questions... Even about herbs that I heard were good to take.

I took the call and spoke with a representative from Anthem to learn all about wellness programs they have. Actually sounds like a good idea.  Then they repeatedly called back, several times a day, from different numbers (866 623 3794 is one of them).  I finally called them back and told them in no uncertain terms that I will report them for harassment if I receive one more phone call.  The lady on the other end said that the calls are randomly generated by their computer and she has no control over who they call.  I told her that she better get control of over who they call and I wont accept anything less.  She said there is now a note in my "file" indicating they are not to call me ever again.  We'll see.
