Social Security fraud

Received a call from Social Security Administration on 5/7/16 from a Miss Meadows asking to call back 1-800-525-7613 x35946 in reference to a social security matter.The extension goes straight to voice mail.

Received a message from Miss Cullman saying she was from the Social Security office and to call back Ext. 36672  When I called she had no info on what the call was for.

Received a call from this number, left a voicemail to call it back for Tamera to discuss my benefits. Called SSA and they verified that they never call to discuss this so it's a scam number. Also accessed SSA via web and noticed a note  someone called to request my SSN be changed, which SSA denied the changed. Beware people !

I received a message from someone identifying them as being with the Social Security office. Obviously a scam. I did not return the call. They knew enough about me to know of my retirement pension with the job I recently left after 20 years. It's disturbing to realize that this type of personal information is available to criminals.

From extension 34406: Caller left voice mail stating she was calling regarding my Social Security and requested I return call ASAP. After reading the above comments, I don't think I'll bother.

From extension 34571:  A Ms. Foster left a voice mail stating she was calling regarding my Social Security and requested I return call ASAP.  I returned the call but it went to her voicemail.  I left my name and she called me minutes later.   Somehow she knew I was recently approved for SS disability.   The first thing she asked for was my bank account number.  She said this was needed for direct deposit of my benefits.  Absolutely NOT !  I gave her nothing.   SCAM !!!

Oh my goodness Mike ... Tamera is still working the phones ... got a message from her  ... I didn't call her back ... poor Tamera ...

I received a call from 1 800-525-7613 extension 79023 claiming it was Social Security and her name was Miss Gardner when I called the number back it beeps once and hangs up.

I received a call yesterday with a similar message, but different name and extension. I haven't called back. SSA usually mails not calls. These people are unconscionable.

This is a scam!

Got a call from 1-800-525-7613 x 36902. I didn’t answer, Ms Holt left message stating she was from Social Security & to call back. When I did, got voice mail to call Ms Holt at # 513-575-6502. Watch out for these number’s
