I am getting these calls but I am not the person they need. The previous resident of my house has some unpaid bills with JC Penney. They call to collect.

Like previous people above, they call several times per day leave no msg or automated recording comes on at first. One message was left for a Caroline Lopez, which is not me.

They've left two voice mail messages on my cell phone, telling me to call "toll-free." I don't know who they are or what they're trying to sell me.

Received call 9-28-07 at 607 PM.  Caller was machine and immediately out me on hold.  While holding, I listened to recording that said it was "Account Holders"  After 15 seconds of holding. I hung up.  Even if was a human being, you don't call someone then out them on hold - no way pal - you called me!  I am checking the internet fir this number and I see that it is probably an auto dialer.  This number should be ignored - until it becomes a real nuisance.  Then report it to your phone company.

On 11-6-2007 at approximately 1:55 p.m. (cnetral time) I received a second call from a Indian or Pakastani female claiming to be with a collection agency for J.C. Penney's.  She claimned that my wife had two accounts with J.C. Penneys and wanted to aragnge a $30.00 payment for a purchase made in August of 2007.  She was advised that our account was paid in full.  She claimed that she could see the last payment with the correcct amount ($85.00) was made but the money was on the other account.  When she was asked for that account number she "claims" that company policy does not allow he to give out the account number over the phone.  I told her that I wanted her name and supervisors contact number.  She claimed that her name was "Nicole" and gave me the 800-527-3369 number.  She quickly added taht she would contact her supervisor and that she was advised this time (second contact same female) the account was paid in full.  I'm now going to call J.C. Penneys and do a little checking

Received calls from this caller several times after the New Year. Once a day, all in the morning. 8:30 or 9:15ish. Jumped out of the toilet to get the cell phone! Was asked to hit any key to continue but left hang out after hitting a key. When I called back, was asked to enter the credit card number. But I don't have any account with JC Penny. Was worried about the identity theft. After checking this website, feel better. Just ignore it. It's not a person. It's a machine!

caller says there from jcpenny but seemed very suspicios. they didnt even know our current adress but had the current phonenumber (seemed sucpicous). i gave this person no personal info becouse i had doubt of who it really was.

J.C. Penney's doesn't know the number. This guy and his "supervisor" Michael both asked to confirm my sister's address (I told the 1st one I wouldn't) and I blasted both as to why I'm hearing a beeping sound. I didn't authorize any recording of this call. #1 apologized for recording, #2 denied they do any recording. The number is close to J.C. Penney's Credit Dept numbers.
There must be a Federal Agency to report this too.

I don't have a JCPenny Card!

Automated messages on my machine, after 2 weeks of several calls a day called in and was asked account number.  Informed that I have never even been to a JC Penny store let alone have a card from them.  After some research turns out person that had my number before me did, they apologized removed my number from their system and asked for my telephone companies contact information in an attempt to locate proper contact info.  Calls have stopped since then.

they have take 3 times of my credit card from this number 1 800 934 1875    i can see if take off credit card send sms to my gsm are that scam or what ?

yesterday I dailed 1-800-527-3369 every 10 min's & pounded on the num pad untill I got someone on the ph line then I said as your # is toll free I will harass U as U R harassing me as of 2:24 7/7 no more calls but I am still harassing him for a few more day's as I have nothing better to do
hope you all tie up there lines as i am doing maybe they will change there attatude H

I have been recieving phone calls as well from this #(800) 527-3369. It's automated though I can't even have the chance to tell them to stop calling me. I don't have a JC Penny Card. How annoying. Can a person block these kinds of phone calls to a cell phone?

why do they bill my visa account?

constant calls aboiut bill that is in dispute;.  have asked for itemized bill for weeks and the foreign people just don't get it.  they call and call and call.
