- Play-uh| 6 repliesGot a call with no ID; voice mail mentioned this number only. No name of organization or anything. Do they think I'm going to call them back when they don't ID themselves? Hell naw.
- no-fool| 1 replyGot a call saying it was from Brenda at First National Bank of Omaha giving this number and at the end of the message giving another number, 888-200-7972.
When I called it I got a not very official-sounding woman's voice saying the bank's name and asking for my card number.(we have none). I hung up.
A call to the REAL bank's info numbers was entirely different- the usual canned voice giving menu options, etc. - wonderingThe following message was left on on voice mail would so and so or someone from accounts payable plase call the folowing number 1-800-537-3302

- George HenryGot a call from the number. Came across unknown name. After reading these posts, I called the number "phishing" for some information about them. Finally, I called National Bank of Omaha (number from bill), and asked them directly about this number. Sarah verified that the number is from their collections department. The collections department was verifying my latest charges since the charges were made out of my normal area and appeared to be suspicious.
- RebeccaI have been receiving calls from "PRIVATE" daily, and sometimes several times a day, for the past 3 weeks.
the message is to call 1-800-537-3302, and it is very important that I do so.
I do not answer PRIVATE calls, nor do I return their calls.
Who do we report these occurances to? - tyI received a block phone call and a voice message asking me to call 800-537-3302 about my bank account with Omaha. Which I have no such account, but before they would tell me any information I must supply them with my information I started with my name and they want my address. So I gave them a fake address which I heard the lady typing which usually they just check the screen to make sure the name matches with the address. When I came to the state part she said which state in Indiana which I just moved to less then a month before, and still have all my address in Rhode Island. I then followed to ask a few questions which the lady began to get very upset with me asking her questions. Finally, I told her that while I was asking these questions I was tracing her number since I work for a telephone company and will be reporting her this number to the FCC and to the FTC then hung up. I suggest that everyone take a few minutes to go to the FTC website and file any information with them since this is obviously a scam

- DONT DO IT!These people called from a BLOCKED # and left me a voicemail to call them back at 800-537-3302 said it was "emily". Husband got the same call from a MICHAEL at the same #. They indicated on both voicemails they were from TRIANGLE CREDIT UNION. I did not call them back. Instead, I called and gave the information to my Triangle representative who researched the # and verfied it is NOT legit, that whomever these people are - they are in NO WAY affiliated with TCU and they asked me to save the voicemail. I went to the branch and allowed them to listen on my speaker of my phone. The Manager of the branch is now contacting their home office to let them know of this scam and alert all of the TCU clients.
DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION IT IS COMPLETE BS THEY ARE TRYING TO GET PERSONAL INFORMATION TO SCAM YOU!- Caller: SAID from "Triangle Credit Union"
- JayI have been repeatedly called by a blocked number, claiming to be First National Bank of Omaha. I called them directly, and they had no indication of any of their employees calling me, nor why they would have called. Recently my firm was broken into, and personal information was leaked. These people are obviously trying to leech personal information out of people.
- Caller: First National Bank of Omaha
- JIMI have received several calls from blocked # or 800-537-3302 claiming to be from 1 st national bank of omaha asking for info about my son, they ask for last 4 digits of SS# and phone # that he can be reach at. BEWARE THEY REFUSE TO GIVE LAST NAMES OR LOCATION, HOW EVER I HAVE FILE A COMPLAINT WITH FTC.- Caller: FIRST NATIONAL BANK/OMAHA

- mr. right| 9 repliesReceieved a call from this # thinking it was a scam, talked to a very nice gentleman who actually informed me that i was past due because my payment was lost in the mail. The people in the past just did not give enough information. Think about it, if you call a company you dont want them giving out information just cause they can, when people call in they dont give any information and you expect them to find everything you want they have millions of customers you are not the only one they called. So dont expect them to give out any information that they arent supposed to, and the information they ask for is PUBLIC INFORMATION ANYWAY. I can look up your name and address and phone number online, just ask them to look it up by ur phone number (thats what i did.) This company is legit and not trying to steal information from you, i read some of these comments before i called so i asked about what some of you guys said about the random calls all of a sudden, they use whitepages and when they find a POSSIBLE number they try it.
For the person who wrote don't do it look better into what you do, fnb actually owns triangle credit union credit cards, if the person at the bank told you that it is fraud that person needs to do some training, more than likely if you get a statment saying card member services, they actually own the credit card and call people on them different bank but they call the accounts. i tried to get everybody that i saw on this, i saw something about they dont say their last names or location thats up to the person u talk to call back im sure someone will tell u, i asked and they told me they run out of omaha where the main bank is from.
If you get a rude person on the phone doesnt mean everybody is rude, u just got the unlucky person out of the draw call back and talk to someone else...
i hope this helps some people and clairifies things,
THIS IS A LEGIT COMPANY NOT TRYING TO SCAM YOU THEY ARE TRYING TO HELP YOU OR THEY SIMPLY GOT THE WRONG NUMBER JUST BE NICE TO THEM AND THEY WILL BE NICE TO YOU- Caller: FNB
- You are a scammer replies to mr. right| 2 repliesand are probably one of them. If they are actually legit they shouldn't be calling from unknown numbers, would actually send a PAPER notification in the mail and possibly a follow-up via email. Don't feed me that garbage and stop harassing people.
- BettyI am so sick of this company calling me. Same as everyone else, "emily" asking for my husband and wants him to call them back. First National Bank. We have nothing to do with this bank. After reading all of the other posts I now want to get "bitchy" with them on the phone.
- Caller: First National Bank
- Casey| 2 repliesI work for First National Bank of Omaha/Card Member Services, and this is the number to our collections department. The reason we are calling is because your account is deliquent or over the limit. If you don't have an account through fnbo/cms and we have your number on file it is probably because someone who is deliquent used to have your phone number. Call the 800# and we can get your number taken out of our system

- mr.right replies to You are a scammerI am not w/ the company i just know how to askt he right questions unlike the people on this page... do research u will get far in life... instead of complaining about it... and assume the worst of people there are people trying to help u... just think about things before u act... its hard for most but might help!
- It is legitI received a call from a "Susan" @ 800-537-3302 identifying herself as being from First National Bank in Omaha. I found this website first and was leary until I read Casey's post. So I called and found out they handle credit cards for other than themselves. I was tentative about sharing my info until getting more info from them which the operator provided. In short, I had a Scheels card that I missed a payment on.
I did suggest to them that their messages should say which credit card they are calling about instead of Bank of Omaha.
Also, until we got to the bottom of it and thinking it was non-legit she was also willing to remove my number from the system.
This is legit.- Caller: First National Bank Omaha
