Asked for my full credit card number for verification. Didn't give it.

Called twice at 8am on the dot. Recorded message claiming we were behind in payments to a Novus Bank.  We don't have an account at Novus Bank.  They wanted out bank account number!

I am getting calls everyday, some twice, I am on the no call list, please make it stop

Robo call from "Card Services" received at 1PM on 8/28/2012.  Third time, third hangup.  We have been on the "Do Not Call" list for years.

Spoke to the rep at Century Link, who refuses to pursue the matter unless I open a formal investigation for $$$ - to hire a lawyer, file suit and go over raw phone records to trace these thieves.  This is something their company should already be doing as a service for the community.  I plan on disconnecting the line when the Windows 8 Smart Phones come out so I can start screening calls thru Google Voice.  ( HEAR THAT OBSOLETE PHONE COMPANY??? )

I also reported the harassment to the attorney general's office, who forwarded it to the FCC.  In other words, nothing will come of it.

These people are scraping the records of registered websites and selling your phone numbers / email addresses to make a quick buck.  Do *not* give them any info.  *DO* press one and keep them on the line - lead them on as much as possible.  Make a game of seeing how long you can keep them busy.  And *just* when you are about to give them valuable information, ask them for their company address, phone number and/or business license.  Yeah, they will hang up on you.  But you will be helping everybody else on their list by delaying the next outgoing robo call.

Got a call from them today wanting me to qualify for lower interest rates on the card(s) they think I have.  Wanted me to give them information that no sane person would give out.
