At least you are all just getting calls.  Myself and multiple people are showing charges on our credit cards for around $9.40.  No contact from anyone, just a line on my statement referring to "Est Company 800-554-8147 Fl".  When I called this number I get a generic answering message.  My credit card company has reversed the charges and are looking into this company.

This company placed an unauthorized charge of $9.35 on our business account on May 1st. It looked like this: EST COMPANY 800-554-8147 FL. When we called the number to request details about the charge, we received a generic phone message just like everyone else has reported. The company never called us back, so we contacted our bank and they have sent in a fraud alert for this company. Beware of this number!!

I didn't get a call but my checking card was charged in the amount of $9.40 by that phony company EST COMPANY 800-554-8147 FL.
I never use my debit card to buy online nor let anybody use it...what's going on?  I might sound silly to fight for $10 but what if it was more?

No one has called me from this number, but I have an unauthorized charge on my credit card for about $10, and this phone number is listed on my bill. I'm going to call my bank and see if they'll reverse it.

800-554-8147 is the number I found on my bank statement along with "EST Comp Fl" on it in which they deducted $9.40. I called the attorny general from FL to report that transaction that was done. The lady who answered the phone at the attorney generals office said that the number is from "Boca Raton Fl" and that the company was under the name Nacha, and that it had to do with some kind of banking. However she did state that they have gotten several reports on that number. I HIGHLY recommend calling the attorney generals office in FL and reporting it. The Florida attorney generals number is 1-850-414-3990. One report wont do anything, but the more reports...better the action taken against them. Also can be reported at the FTC which is:

July 3rd, I wound up with a 9.35 charge on my debit card.  I reported this to my credit union and also filed an online report with the Florida Attorney General.  Some body there in Florida has a cute gag going - I wonder how many people pay their account or baland and just don't catch the charge?

I received a credit card bill from EST Company, 800-554-8147 FL dated 6/13/08. I don't know this company and do not give my credit card number over the phone. I did get a strange automated call (Unknown) around this time that advised me the offer for my extension was running out (whatever that meant). Then at the end, the recording asked if I didn't want to receive any more notices. I punched in a yes answer. Probably a big mistake. But how did they get my card number?

I called my credit card company today. They said I have to contact EST Company and if no answer or no satisfactory results, then call them back to dispute the transaction. As long as the company has my credit card number, they can continue to bill until this is resolved. The EST company should give my card company the "proof" which I can't see. Then my card company will discuss with me and debate whether it is accurate. Other option is to cancel my card and pay it off.

Just a follow up on my Jul 6 entry - I filed complaints with mylegal at Florida Atty. General, and with the Federal Trade Commission.  Next I contacted my credit union and filed a dispute and a fraud insurance claim.  I've been given a $9.35 provisional credit while the issue is investigated.  I also (oh, the inconvenience!!) cancelled my ATM/Debit card and will be issued a new one with a new number in 7-10 days.  AT least, if this outfit has 'your number', cancel it and get a new card - that will stop them cold from making anymore charges.
