On answering no one responded.

I got a call from that number today.  Google search shows a company named Community Safety LLC, retained by the California Reserve Peace Officers Association for fundraising assistance.

calls repeatedly, never leaves message when answering machine picks up.
Calls in the evening, very annoying. I refuse to answer these calls.

I got a call from this #1-800-557-1454, but they always ask for someone that doesn't even live here. They have called a couple times. Very annoying, because they call at night!!!

I've had several calls from this number, also later in the evening and no one ever responds when I answer.  How do I stop them?

Just got a call today from this number at 2:46 pm.

Got a call from this number today @ 3:41PM while I was at work. No message was left. Eeerrr.

Got two calls. When I pick up the phone, I get some kind of office noise, a laughter or voice and they hang up after a few seconds.

Called three or four times now, when I pick up no one answers. Now I remember why I had my home phone disconected; constant calls like these!

Have been getting calls from this number many times and finally answered today at 5:22 p.m.
Said they were calling for the Montana Police Chiefs Association (no such thing) and were calling from Spokane, Washington. Called the local Police Dept. and they know nothing about this fundraising.

Got a call from this number... didn't leave a message though. Grrrr...

Receive phone calls from this number frequently.  Never answer.  I am on the DNC list.

These calls aren't blocked by the DNC as they claim to be a telemarketing company allowed by the listing itself. I believe they identified them as the Police Chief's Association (I don't quite remember). They're calling to raise money on behalf of their group to educate the young public about drug and alcohol abuse and ask for a small donation. This is the third time I got a call from this number (the first time being a guy who asked for the previous holder of my landline number and then badgered me until I allowed him to "send me information" that I ignored, the second being a lady following up because they had done an audit and hadn't received the donation I promised the first guy - boy did he get in trouble for that).

As far as I can tell this is a legit company (I later opened the letter from them and read that I was expected to donate and it came with a car sticker that everyone here has from donating).

This third person I talked to was very pleasant and totally understood me wanting to have my name and number removed from their list. Hopefully I don't get any more calls from them.

Unwanted call, How do I block this?

I get many many phone calls from this number and usuallyl dinner hour and later (1-800-557-1454) and I don't answer.  They never leave a message.  Last year someone did call saying they were requesting donations from Montana Police Chiefs Association but I declined.

Sick and tired of calls asking for money!!!! Get a job like the working class!!!!

Called and addressed me as Mrs., I said yes very pleasant said they were from the Police Association and were trying to collect funds for missing and exploited children and would mail out the info if I were interested.  I told him no I wasn't interested but I live where we don't even have a police department so don't know who they were hoping to con into this.

Called me this afternoon. I answered and they hung up without saying a word.

Called at least 6 times the last 2 days - hung up without a word when I answered.  Call disconnects before answering machine comes on.  ANNOYING!!!!
