case # conserning some kind of fraud in the state of florida and they need my social security number,full name, date of birth, if they have my social they should have every thing about me the guy name is mike miller i did not call back because  they really  didn't tell who they were representing, and i never got a letter from them of this matter.

i just received a call from this guy mike miller. stating that is is very important for me to call back due to a warrant and social impiarament..what ever that is and also that they have sent me mail regarding the issue and that my social would be affected some how ? he gave me his extention 1116...don't know if this is real ??

My parents whom I have not lived with or even in the same state for many years recieved a message from a Mike Miller ext.1116 he couldn't pronounce my last name but did have the last four of my ss#. She suspected fraud but passed the information along. I called using *67 to block my cell #. There was no one there to answer the phone. Thank you to the rest of you for passing along your experiences.

I just received a call from the same number 800-559-0708, from a Mike Holmes, said he is calling because of some bad check for a payday loan said he is a claims investigator and it is imperative I call back if I want to settle this out of court, can they threaten you like that?  And what bad check payday loan are they talking about?

received a call at work which was left on my vm from a guy by the name of Investigator Moore from the number of 1-800-559-0708. He also talked to one of my employees and had the last 4 digits of my S.S.  I guess he is not aware that we have caller ID at work and the number that read on the called ID was 770-405-8568 listing a Rakim Turner the call was at
6:pm cst what investigator calls a persons employment at that time and leaves a message of that sort on the company vm and with a fellow employee. Not knowing what this was regarding I did some research of my on. Mr miller called from his home phone and the 800 number no one answers its a recording not giving a company name just states claims investigator. None of this added up therefore im not going to where myself about it. Times are hard and all the internet/phone scams I will not fall in there hands. So therefore like some of the people above state if this matter is so important contact me by mail or home phone. Also I will be reporting this to the Attorney Generals Office.

Caller Betty Welch called my friend's cell phone and stated that there were alligations against me, not saying regarding what. Her ext is 1104, and when my husband called back, they said the name of the company is JAS Inc. Having checked this information, this is a debt collection company. I don't owe anything for a payday loan and for these people to be calling my friend's phone and not my own is ridiculous. Plus, any legal actions would be sent to me in the mail, and I've received nothing. This is a scare tactic. One I will not be falling for. Also will be reporting this to the Attorney General's office for harrassment.

Received a call from a Jimmy Condery not even on my own phone that I've had for 10 years. He couldn't pronounce my last name or even spell it on the voicemail. He said that I had a claim against me and that it would very important that I call him back right away. 800-559-0708, ext 1123. If it's real then send me a letter. I don't respond to indirect requests.

Received a call from a woman named Cindy saying that she's calling regarding a potential deposit fraud and needed to speak to me. Fortunately I didn't answer my phone and asked my husband about it. It's a scam since she never told her company and just want to speak to me regarding "the fraud."

Be ware and always use common sense when answering unknown callers like this.

Recieved a call from 1-770-405-8568 at 5:13pm 05/23/09 with a man leaving a message saying I was being investigated for some sort of fraud concerning Bank of America. He said his name was Investigator Moore and left the #1-800-559-0708 for me to call immediately saying there was also a pending warrant. I called my bank immediately concerning this matter to only be told DO NOT give them any personal information. Called the # he left and there was no answer, I am suspecting this is a scam!! So beware, I will also be reporting this to the attorney generals office and will also be saving the message left on my phone.

i did get the same phone call from this cindy smith ext. 1110. it was very stressing because he was calling a co-worker of mine and harrassing him constantly. if this was a collection agency, how come they dont give anything throug mail. my mistake was, since she was preassuring me too much, i gave in and gave my atm card number. but in my gut feeling, i feel like there is something wrong with this call. i have encountered a lot of calls from a collection agency but this call was different. they demand a payment right away. i dont know if i should pursue and give them my money or ?????????? need an advice regarding this matter!

received a phone call from this number on Wednesday at my work and at home stating that he was an investigator.  I needed to call this number immediately within 24hours along with my lawyer for breach of contract.  If I do not call they will take extreme actions against me.

My step mom received a call this afternoon from this number from a Mr. Paul White. He said that he had a warrant out for my arrest. I called the county courthouse and sheriff's department where I resided prior to moving. They said that there is nothing in their records. They told me not to worry about it. I called the bank that I bank with as well. They do not know what this company is talking about but told me not to give them any information...so I am not.

dont know what to do: i verified my address with them and i gave them my card number. i cancelled that earlier already.

I got a call from this number by a guy named Tony Rizzo at ext. 1127 for a friend of a neighbor.  The person they asked for has never been at my number or used it, but they had her first and last name.   The also called my neighbor with an almost the exact message, except the message she got was much much meaner.  Tony said we needed to contact him regarding reference number 3409-WA, but my neighbor had a different reference number, he also quoted a Washington State Collection statute.

My mom received a call from a Paul White stating that he needed me to call him immediately regarding check#1805.  I called this [***] and he said that I had committed depost fraud on a payday loan from 5 years ago.  He said that he was going to have me arrested and have charged brought against me for writing bad checks.  I have no recollection of this so called payday loan.  So I asked him to send me proof of the debt, he said he could only to that if I would agree to an out of court settlement.  I stated that I would not agree to pay anything unless the debt was verified.  Paul White then stated that he would see me in court and hung up on me.  Being a former collector I know that this [***] has violated almost every law in the Fair Debt Collection Act and I will be reporting him.

hi. i was just reading your comment and i did get a call from the same phone number. and the lady and the guy are totally harrassing me. my mistake was i gave them my address and my account number until i realized in the end that it was a scam. from this point i dont know who to trust anymore. and they keep calling me all the time. so demanding and so scary. why does this people get a real job instead of stealing someones money and identity as well.

Received a call asking about my son? And check fraud, didn't sound real, as a matter of fact, the person on the phone sounded like her voice was computer-altered.  She said it was urgent, but wouldn't give the name of the company she was working for.  Gave case number and everything.

I just got a call from Investigator Rizzo from a blocked CID. When I told him the person was not available, he asked for that person to call back at 1-800-559-0708, ext 1127, and he gave a reference on an account number ####-AZ (we live in Arizona). He said the person he was calling could give a sworn statement over the phone, or in person when served "court appearance" documents.

I called the number back and got the company name from "investigator" Rizzo. He said his company is "JAS Claims Investigations". He threatened to call my spouse's employer if we didn't cooperate with him. I told him to wait a moment while I turned on the recorder and he said that he didn't give me "permission to record nothing". He was screaming over the phone by that point and then hung up on me as soon as the phone beeped to start recording. We live in Arizona, he told me before he hung up that he is not located in Arizona and does not have a business license in Arizona.

I too received a message from this Investigator Moore.  He did not know what he was talking about and proceeded to get mad when I questioned him about accusing me of fraud.  This is a scam and he will not get anything from me.
