I am getting repeated calls from this number with no one on the line. I did connect once with a live person and they were trying to contact the previous owner of my number--PLEASE STOP CALLING!!

I am getting repeated calls from this number with no one on the line.  I did connect with a live person who was looking for a person I have never heard of.  When I tried to get some information from the caller they were very rude and hung up on me.  I am sick of this call.   With Some internet research I discovered that the number belongs to Northstar Technologies and I have reported them to the Tulsa,OK Attorney General and the FTC.  It took 4 phone calls and finally a civil person to remove my number from their calling list.

The phone rings and rings all times of the day and no one is there.  It is becoming a real  pain.

I get calls at all hours of the day from this number 8005592938 and when I anwser there's no one there and they never leave a voicemail!!! Ahhh just leave me alone!!!

It is not our intent to harass anyone.  If you are receiving calls from this number and wish for the calls to stop please call the number back and ask to speak to a manager.  At that time we will do everything in our power to accommodate your request.  Please remember our employees are people just like you who are attempting to do a job for our clients.  We understand bad things happen to good people and it is our policy to handle every customer with care and understanding.  We will not belittle you, call you names or cuss at you and we ask for the same decency in return.  We know with the tough economic times people are unable to pay bills in a timely manner.  We ask that you work with us as we come to an agreement to repay anything that is due.  If you begin a payment plan, the calls will stop as long as the payments are made as arranged.

I get harassed almost daily from this company and no v mails ever. I'm one who wil never answer a call from a unknown source if they don't state their business in regards to what...
I too understand they have a job to do. But at the same time their jeopardizing my minimum wage job.

I started recieving calls from this number 1800-559-2938 several days ago. They call at all hours ye never leave a message. I finally answered and there is no one on the other end. How frustrating. I am not behind on bills as far as I know so I am a bit annoyed. I will be calling the number back and asking(politely) for them to take me off the call list.

I have started recieving calls from the same number you all have, Today alone, I recieved, and yes I counted, 10 calls in a 2 hour span. This is rediculous and is NOT the way a business should be running. I dont owe bills that I AM NOT aware of.

PS- IM CHANGING MY NUMBER!!!!!

This number calls me once a week or so, and then when I answer, there is nobody on the other end. Very frustrating. I will be using Google Voice to block this number.

A woman from 800-559-2938 called my son's phone. Since he's out of the country for about a year I answered the call. I told the woman he's not at this # right now and she got nosy wanting to know who I was, if I am a friend of his or what my relationship is to him. I told her it was none of her business and I don't discuss personal matters with complete strangers. She started muttering some smart-alec comments while she was typing and she wouldn't hang up. So...Mr. NorthStart VP, your employees may not belittle or cuss, but they sure do make smart-alec comments. No one needs to know any info about me or how I'm related to who they are calling! My son's financial issues are not a reflection of me or my finances.

And less than 2 hours later I get another phone call from 800-559-2938. This time they hung up when I answered. REAL PROFESSIONAL STAFF YOU HAVE THERE MR. NORTHSTAR VP! Harrassing innocent people.

I received a call from this number, They not leave a message, but since I Read this is for collection I am not sure what this  is about.

Once again, I get another call from this ridiculous collection agency. This time I didn't answer, but next time I will and I will not be nice. Can they not get what I'm telling them? Do they really want to make an overseas call just to collect a stupid debt. My son's mail has been forwarded to my address, but I have yet to see anything from this company in the mail. Shouldn't they be sending some type of collection letter to him?

I do not know the person you are calling tired of being bothered by you I am turning you into the FTC then if you call me I can get you in a lot of trouble

I keep getting phone calls from this number. Nobody is on the other end of the line. Not only do they keep calling and noone being there but they call at all hours of the night. I was just called not 5 minutes ago. I'm really getting tired of this.

Received a call at 2:07 am local time. From my experience as a debt collector a decade ago, this is not legal.

Obviously it is your company's intent to harass. I got a call from 800-559-2938 at 5:30 THIS MORNING!!! How is that not harassment? I don't care who your company is looking for! That's just wrong not to mention illegal. I'm saving the number with the date and time stamp on my phone and making contact with whomever I can to report this today. This abuse has to stop!
