I got a call - but it was one I requested regarding assistance with Geriatric Care Councilor.

This is a nurse from Nations Care Link. I am increasing my long term health care and the nurse has to perform a 30 minutes interview with me prior to approving the increase.

This is a legitimate follow up to a life insurance policy i recently setup.

This number called my cell phone, I did not answer as I didn't know the number

They called repeatedly, I finally answered.  Said they were calling from Blue Cross and wanted to send out a Nurse Practitioner to give me a free examine and to report findings to my doctor.  I did set up a time, for a visit, but now I am worried.

It was from a Critical Care Provider to do a phone interview for additional Insurance i applied for.

legit number - representing nations carelink division, UNAVIDA. RN callingto schedule appt. for long term care assessment for a long term care insurance claim. Hard to get a return call, tho!

I received a call from this number.  No one answered when I picked up. I am registered on the Do Not Call List.

This number called me to do an interview on a life insurance policy I recently applied for.  I knew they might call but I didn't know the number that would show up.

This is Univita Health.  I just signed up for Aflac and they are calling for an over the phone interview for short term disability coverage.  

This was AFLAC calling to follow up on a short term disability policy renewal.

This call to set up a physical screening for insurance. The way it sounded, they represent many insurance companies with whom people may have applied -- life insurance, Aflac, long-term care, etc.

Legitimate company.

LTCG is a legitimate business related to my parents' long-term health care policy. I'm not saying they don't cold call people without insurance policies, but there is probably no reason to block this number--they'll likely take you off their call list if you ask.

Since others reported a legitimate business, I called, and after a long time on hold, got a representative who asked me if I had applied for insurance, or filed a claim?  Nope.  So she checked the number and asked if I were a 'Patricia' somebody.  Nope.  We concluded that they had the wrong number for Patricia.  She was properly grateful for the correction.  This site was helpful!

It's Legit.  The caller ID came in a "LTCG", which I suppose stands for Long Term Care Group.  I recently applied for a life insurance plan with a long term care rider from Nationwide Insurance.  Nationwide (and other insurance carriers, apparently) contract with this group to take applicant's medical histories and do exams.

believe this is legit number; i already deleted the earlier number but probably for Transamerica Long Term Care for phone evaluation of my aunt.
