Why would any legitimate business call and ask you to call them back and then the recording asks for the last four digits of your Social Security number?

opened account and the company calls every day asking for more info after account opened. Told them to never call again or will call police. Ride and stupid people

It is Kohls. I called back I got to a call center is India or Philippines. The Guy was nice, but told me that 'according to the Patriot Act, I needed to provide a street address." I opened the account with my  PO Box and have been paying on line with no problem.  I told him to put his request in writing and stop calling.

This is not Kohl's.  this is a scam that has phone number that is exactly like Kohl's except the number to Kohl's has a one in front the 800.  don't be fooled, you will call back and talk to some scammer and give them your personal information. if you call 1-800-564-5740 you DO get Kohls, but if you call back with just 800-564-5740 you will get some rude person who just answers the phone with a hello. do not get them any personal information over the phone, or you will be giving them all they need to steal your identity and ruin your credit

Do not answer the Phone I believe this number to be a scam a THEIF if Kohls wants to contact you they will do so by mail, the person calling doesn't know your name it simply tells you to call the number just so when you call that's  how they steal your identity come on people think about it.

Received a recorded message from this phone number telling me to call Kohls at 888-814-3558.  When I called the number they gave me I got another recorded message tell me that I was eligible for a free medical alert system.
I hung up.

Just got a call from this number.  Asked me to call Kohl's at 1-888-815-3555.  I called and it was a recording for Kohl's.  It said to press another number for Spanish.  The recording said for your Kohl's credit card press 1, for all other options press 2.  I pressed 2.  The recording then said to enter the last 4 of your social security number followed by the pound sign.  I hung up.  Not sure what that was about...

Left no message - blacklisted

Obviously fraudulent call from someone - not Kohl's.

Caller ID indicated 1-800-564-5740 however the automated message left on my voice mail repeatedly stated to call Kohls at 1-888-814-3555.  This is a scam.  See the pages of comments under the "1-888-814-3555 report unwanted calls."   I did not all them back.

Calls all the time

Have received calls like this from 2 different numbers, online searches say both numbers are scammers. Shut these criminals down!

Called me before normal business hours and I let it go to voicemail and they didn't leave a message but I will not be calling back since I agree kohls always mails their information to me.
