I am getting calls from this number twice a day at my house. My wife just had a baby and they are trying to get sleep when they can. But the caller is very persistant calling and offering a "special offer". I've reported them to FTC.

Call every day, even weekends two to three times a day.  I have yet to answer the phone.  This has been going on for months now.

2 months ago this number called me relentlessly for a week, sometimes countless times in the day & night.Today I have had this number call my cell # 4 times so far.Three times in the last hour in a half.I believe they are using a automated dialer computer that scans phone numbers and when some one answers the call, the 1 800 dialing computer canects the line to the 1 800 566 8064 opperator.

The 1 800 opperator does not do any actual calling, or the redialing. If the Dialer does not get a answer it simply adds the active phone # to the list to call back , and it will till continue to call untill the operator moves to a new call list or untill the auto dialer gets some one to answer the phone, of un till it gets a out of service message. To the best of my knowledge thes diales are not legal in BC, or canada.

The solution is to 1.) Answer the phone ask them their full name, and the name of their company, and then tell them to take your # off the call list.By law they have to if you ask 2.)Do not answer and put up with the phone rinning 3.)Or pick up the phone when they call then hang up right away...this will register on the auto dialer as canected call and not as a "to call back number".You You might have to hang up on them a few times b4 it registers as a wasted number, but it will work.

I know how 4 sure how these dialers work as a I use to work for a company that used them, and yes it was not legal then to !

...And of course report them to the FTC, because creditors & solisitors have strict rulls they have to follow as to when and how often they can try to call.

This number called my cell today.  I answered and said "Hello", but there was no reply, only silence, a click and then the line was disconnected.  I am in the 403 area code.

So they called again last night and once again this afternoon.  This afternoon, I answered and spoke to a call center employee.  The company's name was ICT and they were calling on behalf of my credit card provider.  I asked them to remove my number from the ICT list and my provider's list.  I hope it works.

I'm getting this number at least once a day.  3 times today, that I'm aware of.  If I let it ring and let the answering machine take it and they hang up. Then, usually within 5 minutes, I get a call from 1-888-882-3811.  Today, I let the machine take it the first time and hung up the second two times.

they have been calling my cell phone for days now & i refuse to waste minutes picking up a call that i don't recognize, especially an 800 #....when did it become ok for telemarketers to begin harassment on cell phones??? it costs ME money to answer those calls!! grr....so is it with CIBC (would make sense since I bank there)...and if so does that mean that they are giving out my personal, confidential information??

3 times so far today. They constantly call our number. Can't they take a hint? We aren't answering! Who is this anyway!

They just called again and I finally answered. It was a courtesy call on behalf of Zellers. So I asked the gal if after calling 5 and 6 times in a day don't they get the hint and stop calling. She stopped midsentence and then started her spiel again! So then she gave me this 1-866-225-8051 number to complain. I called it and it's not in service. What a pain.

I am fed up with this company calling me, and said no over and over again when I did answer their calls. I have no choice but to adopt a new approach; I have set up a PC with automated calling and call them back every hour. The calls are answered by an automated system saying they are open Mon. to Fri. blah, blah, blah, and identify the firm as ISP Group which is a Toronto, Ontario, based internet service provider as far as I know. I am in the 403 area code zone. Anyway, Monday I'm sure to get a call asking me to not call them any more and I'll ask for the same consideration in return :)

It is a telemarketer that seems to have an arrangement with credit card companies, which is where they get their mailing lists that I am on. They pitch ID theft protection, life insurance and other products on behalf of the card issuers. So far I have had them call on behalf of HBC/Zellers, ScotiaBank VISA and CanadianTire Master Card offering me the same products. I have called each of the credit card companies and complained but other than getting a lame apology from cardholder support, nothing was done cuz the calls keep coming.

I came home today and found this number on my caller ID.  Any time I see a number like that on caller ID, I google it and if it's one like this, I add it to my call block service from my local telephone company.  So their number will never get through to my house again...now THEY get a recording from me.
