- ESGKDCsomeone called and asked for a J****** K******, then gave another name - first name the same - last name different - well this is a business - we don't have anyone by that name that works here - nor have they ever.

- GanpatOn September 27th, 2007 at 11:35 AM, I received a call, telling me that my name and my father's name was given to them as a way to contact a B. Mohabir. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, because this is the same guy that tried and fail to kill me over 10 years ago. Now he has my phone number, after I left New York. Well guess what, I am sure he has my address to, I am waiting for you!

- ksmith| 1 replyAsked what my name was and if I needed a personal loan. I said no thanks and hung up. They have been calling my private cell phone twice a day for over two weeks. They do not leave a voicemail and I do not pick up.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- ChipsThey have been calling for weeks, maybe months. I don't pick up numbers I don't know. It's my cell that they call. They start calling at 7 am. They never leave a message either.
- Caller: N/A
- MelThese people are relentless. I answered a call from them in the past and it doesn't even regard me. I told them then that person did not live here. Very unprofessional and demanding. They call several times a day, every day. I do not answer the phone any longer and they do not leave a message. It seems to me there would be a way to stop these people from calling if you have already told them the facts.

- BlazeSeveral times a day they call according to my Caller ID. Do not usually answer the calls, however, I did answer one on 11-27 as I was home sick from work. They asked for one of my daughters and told them she does not live here anymore. They hung up. Got another call and I asked who was calling and they said the Iowa Reoovery and his name was Dave. I told him she no longer lived here and would take me off the calling list. We'll see.

- Jason and AmandaWe are in Florida and have a brand new house and brand new phone number. These people have called 5 or 6 times in the last few weeks asking for someone by a different name. Even when we have repeatedly asked them to take us off their call list AND that no one lives here by that name or has ever had this number THEY continue to call. I am currently on hold waiting to speak to a manager to get the correct name of the company and the address. The last time they called and harrassed us - we called the California Attorney Generals office (where they are supposedly located) who told us to get the company name and address and send them a certified letter telling them not to call anymore. We are to also send a copy of thios to the CA AG's office. If they call after this we are pressing charges.
- Deaf guyI started getting calls from these people, too, several months ago. This company is called "HSBC" some kind of banking outfit. I'm deaf so I only use my cell phone to get email. I can't answer a telephone. I got someone in my family to answer when they called to explain that they were calling the phone number of a deaf person. The calls then stopped. But that was several months ago.
Now they're calling again. Why? Who knows!!!! I've never had an account with HSBC so I have no idea what their scheme is now. I THINK they are a collection agency but I can't be sure. All I know is I don't have any outstanding bills, no old and unpaid debts, no nothing.- Caller: HSBC

- alejthey have been calling for days how to stop them
- Captain VideoThey've called maybe 10 or 12 times in the past 2 weeks. They ask for me by name. I ask who's calling and they give a 1st name only. I ask, "Representing whom?" The ask if I'm the person they're looking for. I reply that before the call can be completed, they must fully identify themselves. They act like they don't understand and start asking more questions. I just hang up. From the other descriptions I've read here, this number or "caller I.D." is likely used by two or more callers, and might be available as a subscription for those trying to block their identity. If that's the case, then the callers are most likely fishing for personal data, wanting folks to think something's wrong so we'll open up to them without thinking about it. NEVER talk to these people! They're obviously crooks. If not, then they're just blockheads.
- Caller: refused to identify beyond first name
- NickieThey (800-568-0399) called my cell phone about 20 minutes ago. Whatever she said I could not understand. I told her I could not understand her question and they had a wrong number. I hung up. They spoke very softly and mumbled.

- ccThese people have called my home phone# 7 times today! Called them back and the phone just rings and rings. Called again, someone answered "Hello". Inquired as to who they were, and why they were calling my home, and a woman put me on hold and never came back.
They never leave a message, but continue to call. Weird- Caller: unknown
- burzurqNo idea whi it is. The call came within minutes of Dell Financial. Could be a cowinky dink. Calls were to my cell phone.
- AnonymI continue to get calls from this number.
I have answered twice to find out who the hell they are, but both times I have asked them to state their purpose and they hang up.
Friggin' annoyance.
