Phillip, did they tell you why they were calling?

got a call from this number 800 577 0857 - it was like an open line - sounded like some big room like someone dialed by number and then put the phone down. I could hear some voices but no details.

I called back and a recording said this number is not in service.

WTF?!?

yes, I have hundreds of calls from this number. (800) 577 - 0857
I think it is from an outbound call center. In my case, it would be an automotive roadside emergency call!

I got this call to, at 12:30 a.m. no one talks, but can faintly hear noises.  Try calling back, but number not in service. This has happened a few times

I got a call at 3:14am Sunday morning. When I answered no one would talk. Tried to call the number back and it said the number was disconnected.

Me too! I just got one... but for me it's been going on for a couple of months off & on. Anyone of you date the same girl? What is all of our connection?

I used to get calls from ex-girlfriends but we can't all have the same ex... can we?

I get calls from this number @ all hours of the night & early morning. No one ever on the other end. I have had them hang up in a few quick minutes then as I speak to provoke them the line has remained open up to 15 minutes!
And of course when I call back the number is out of my area....

I got a call from this number, when I caled back I also got the "the number you are calling can not be reached from your calling area" The man who left a msg said his name was John Cartright!!

I got 5 calls this morning, from this number,  before I call back I just check the number in this web.

I just got a call from this # and it sounded like a kid who asked if I speak Spanish.  I replied that I do not and was told to hold on.  Then, what sounded like another kids started rattling off to me in Spanish.  Seemed like a prank call, it is Spring Break around here, but the called ID was a 800# so I looked it up.

Weird...

Got a call as well, though for me it was an "Ann Blake" at extension 167.

Tried to call back and got a "call can't be completed at this time" each time.

After a second of silence, what sounded like an oriental woman practically yelled something that I could not understand - I think I heard "you guys" and at first maybe "ipad".  I said I didn't understand and "she" said the same thing - very fast and difficult to understand.  I asked "ipad??" and she said IPOD TOUCH!  I then decided to cut the call and told her we don't do anything with ipod.  She said "Holy Blueballs" and hung up.  

weird.

10 calls from this number already today. annoying as heck and nothing I can do...

this person call me and leave a message. she wants to know about my business.Im think my business it not her bussines.

Do any of you ladies or gentlemen have a pay per call advertisement?

I get a call from this number every other day through my AT&T pay per call advertise which reroutes the call to my business line and charges me a cost every time this number shows up.

It is costing me.

Anyone else having this problem?

I have pay per call.  Has ATT let you out of these charges on this number?

I have  calls from 8005770857 every day  2 times around 4 pm  can you stop or block  it
and when i call back it doesn't answer

I received a call from this number on Tuesday.  It was a pay per call with AT&T.  I haven't tried to dispute this call yet.

I Also have Pay Per Call. Got a message from this number from someone saying their name is "martin" (Obviously not her name)a nd is was a lady. She left a number to call her back: 800-991-3296,  and said she needed a website built. I call her back and she wanted a price, when I asked what industry she was in , she wouldn't say. Then she got crazy and wanted to see my website. I guarantee it's some scam  based out of Florida.  If everybody is getting called via AT&T, something is fishy!!!!!

Also AT&T Pay per call is a joke as well.

I called AT&T to get the charge reversed and I was told that the call was coming from an "internet phone" like Skype or a similar service and because of that they could NOT block it or give us credit for it. That number has called our number in the yellow page listing anywhere from 14-25 calls in a days time.
At pay per call, that is a nice sum for AT&T pay per call. It comes up as blocked number on the listing that is sent to my email for each call that is billed to my service.. so as the lady at AT&T Pay Per Call told me, "how do we know it is not a customer? We don't know if it the same phone number over and over again since it is "blocked".. we can not see the number"... I explained it comes up on my caller ID. She said, "No - JUST NO! we can not credit you the fee. She said, to get registered at the 'Do Not Call Registry" I told her I already was so there, then she said that she did not think the registry could or would block the calls.
