- Angry Mom at Home| 7 repliesHave been receiving pre-recorded calls for months, referencing a perfect stranger. I returned the call last week, and they agreed to take my number off the list. I received another call today at around 3:15 pm. I returned the call again and requested to speak with a manager. A Mrs. Crow came to the phone and proceeded to yell at me, claiming that I had never spoken with anyone from their company before. I stated that I would remain on the line while she removed me from the list. She continued to yell at me, and then hung up!

Debt collector, I dont have anything past due? - Precious8441| 1 replyThey are a collection agency and they are trying to push really hard on collecting on VERY old debts. We have an old debt with AT&T (the phone was stolen and AT&T didn't turn it off. I even sent them a copy of the police report. I refuse to pay for their stupid mistake.) The debt is over 10 years old so they are just desperate. Clearly the statute of limitations has been up for several years. I think so many people are having a hard time paying off debts they are scrambling to get what ever they can from any one they can. Just don't let them push you around. Call the number back and ask for a fax number and fax them a letter telling them to stop calling you. By law they have to stop.

- Fragile Habitat replies to Angry Mom at Home| 2 repliesThey have called here for 6 months but when I push the key they tell you it would hang up, I mean all times of the day with an automated call. This time it worked, I was connected with an operator and asked who they were and what thier address was and she got very defensive and hung up on me. I found the phone number and called them up and they new it was me agaiin by caller id which means they are a shoestring operation with two operators. I reported the abuse to the FCC today and hope they do something. I think everyone should set up thier fax machine to call that 800 number 23 hours a day. Lets fight back folks!

- tjThey have called our office daily with an important message- today I called them back when it hung up on me when I pressed "1" to speak with a representative. I told the lady that answered that we need to be put on the "do Not call list" because we were a government agency and not a residence. She said they did not have a "do not call list". They asked my number and then asked for a Patricia somebody that has never worked here nor ever been heard of. The operator then said they would put us on the "do not call" list that they didn't have. Hmmm

- CSC| 1 replyEndless calls asking for my mother (who lives in a nursing home). Can't tell me what it is about...asks that I send a power of attorney. Sorry, if you can't tell me what it is about, then I'm not giving them a thing. Karly (Carly?) is our tormentor.

- VictimOfHarrassingCallerFMSThey kept asking for Joseph Doe. We told them, "We do not know who is Joseph and Joseph is not living here, please stop calling us, again and again." They unprofessionally replied that they only called us two times, but they actually called us many times asking for Joseph even we nicely asked them to stop the call. They difinitely wanted to harrass us; not really looking for a real Joseph.
