This number calls me all day long and when I answer it, there is no sound or recorded message.  When I call it back, I get a representative from Vonage that tells me they will remove my number and put it on the do not call list.  Vonage is looking for a person in my family.  Not me at all.  I am very discouraged at their attempts.  I would love to take them to court over this whole matter.  Yet, how is an unemployed, stay-at-home mom going to afford that?  They totally bite!!!

I have received two calls from this number today.  Both times there was no response or message.

Simply telling a debt collector over the phone to stop calling you is not going to work. You have to send them a Cease and Desist Letter VIA Certified Mail (with return receipt requested). And you do not need an attorney to do this. Under the laws of the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act),once they receive this letter they must stop or be fined up to $1,000 PER violation. I AM GETTING THE SAME PRERECORDED CALLS DAILY FOR MY SON FOR A VONAGE COLLECTION. WE CANCELLED THE VONAGE SERVICE 1 WEEK PRIOR TO THE 1 YEAR CONTACT(NEVER TOLD TO US). NOW THEY ARE TRYING TO COLLECT AN $80 EARLY TERMINATION FEE WHICH I TOLD THEM NO WAY AS THIS WAS NEVER EXPLAINED(I WOULD HAVE HAD MY SON KEEP SERVICE FOR 1 MORE WEEK). ANYWAY THEY CALL EVERYDAY AND WE TOLD THEM TO STOP. THEY ARE RUDE AND HARRASING. I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE FTC. I NEED THE ADDRESS TO THIS COMPANY BUT OF COURSE THEIR WEB PAGE DOES NOT IST IT SO I CAN WRITE THEM A DO NOT CALL LETTER. DOES ANYONE KNOW THGE ADDRESS TO THES PEOPLE?
