I received a call from this scam artist claiming to be from a company called Coast to Coast.  I advised him we were on a no call list, but he immediately told me he was NOT selling anything and then proceeded to state that I had purchased a lifetime membership in Cheap Tickets or something like that.  I stopped him and told him I had not and hung up.  He called back about three minutes later and my husband answered the phone.  He was told we had purchased a lifetime membership in some travel operation and they had wronged us and all he needed was a credit card from my husband to "activate" an account that would allow him to give us $50 off a $220-$300 cost for some other travel service.  He spent approximately 15 minutes trying to get my husband to give him a credit card number.  My husband finally told him that it was clear it was a scam and he finally hung up after telling the guy to send anything he had on this "great deal" in writing through the mail.

800-594-9560 - I get calls from this number several times per week.  No one is ever on the other end of the call.  Still annoying!

I got a similar call -- didn't remember anything about Cheap Trips but it turns out they were part of aircourier.org -- and I did have a lifetime membership with them. That company claimed to be able to get you free or cheap flights as a courier. Calling it a "scam" was maybe too rough but I never got anything out of it. That whole air courier thing seems to have gone away after 9/11 and baggage fees.

Don't know anything about Coast to Coast but thought the Cheap Trips AirCourier.org connection might be useful info to some.

I received a call from this number and the persons (which I can't hardly understand) told me it was from Coast to Coast something and that he needs my credit card number, I didn't even pay attention and hung up.  They keep calling every day at the same time, but i identify the number as SCAM Number and i don't respond.

I received a call from this number and called it back to tell them that I was on a no call list.  The man said he was from coast to coast travel but the numbers do not match up to the real coast to coast travel numbers.  Also they called me at 5 am originally!  What was eerie was that they had my name, but not my title.  I chided him for calling me by my first name when we are neither family nor friends.  Then he tried to call me Mrs. [not my title].  Told me I had a $4000- account with them.  When I asked how, he hung up.  Then he called back on 800-581-5303 and started it all again.  I asked for his manager, he said it was a good idea and again called me by my first name.  I hung up.  I suspect some old records from some company or another were stolen and that is how they have a base of names and company information to call about.  Both numbers are SCAMS as far as I can tell.  BEWARE!!!

By the way, the 2nd number belonged to a Matt[hew] during 2005-2008 when he was trying to sell resort packages on Craig's list - so WATCH OUT!!!

get a call from this number 1-2 times weekly nobody at the end

Got a call from this number to my answering machine today at 9:41 AM PST.

Whoever called left no message... just an annoying constant tone.

I work at a law office - someone from this number called asking for a person by first
name; when told they were calling a law firm they apologized and hung up.  No one at the firm has any connections with this number

I keep getting calls from this number even though I posted a complaint at donotcall.gov.

but now I call them back and play my piano as badly as possible to their message tape. A friend of mine is squealing her violin back to them.

Today and many days passed, this toll free number calls my landline 2-3x daily. On weekends, it starts @ 0800 which is so annoying.
On the first call I received, I had told the caller ( claims they took over Cheaptrips?) that I am not interested on any travel plans and advised them to take my phone off their list. I also told the caller (different callers/scammers) that my phone is in the Do Not Call Registry but that does not stop them from calling everyday.
I just ignore the calls, anyone from the toll free numbers like 800, 866, 877 etc....

Got numerous calls from this number, finally picked up to tell them to take me off their list. They called me my name (last name). I immediately asked them to take me off the list and he started with his sales pitch. I ignored and said again, take me off your calling list. He tried again, and more forcibly asked to be taken off the list, I don't want anything they are selling; his response was, "Well that's your problem, we're not selling anything." I again asked to be taken off the list with which he replied, "Are you on medication, fine, I will give the $3,000 to someone else." and then hung up.

800-594-9560 - Judy from Coast to Coast ____ Getaways left a message for my husband (stating his first name) regarding his account with cheaptrips.com.  "They are no longer in business" and she wanted to talk to him about his options and the things "that are owed to him".  She asked him to call her back 800-581-5305, extension 0026.  After researching, we are NOT calling her back.  Sounds like a scam to me.  We have never heard of cheaptrips.com.

Got multiple calls from 800-594-9560 but left me a message this time.  The caller claimed to be from Cost to Coast and asking me to call her back regarding cheaptrips.com account.  Her name is Britney.  Instead of asking me to call back to 800-594-9560, she asked me to call 800-581-5305 ext 0015.  She must be pretty stupid to think that I would call her back.
