I got a bogus charge of $429 on my credit card. Never got a call from them. Once I saw the charge I called the number. The person said that someone is giving out their number and as part of a fraud charge. I've called the credit card company and canceled the card.

It's amazing to me that credit card companies seem to have no processes in place to verify and track down where a charge actually comes from. Shouldn't this be fairly basic requirements for being able to charge a card?

Same thing happened to me.  Credit card company lists them as ID SAFE, transaction took place in Nevada, phone # 800-597-5148.

Same thing here. Found a $429 charge on my account.  Listed as ID SAFE 800-597-5148 in NV. Never called them or got a call from them but did call the CC company and canceled the card.  Provided all the information to their fraud department.

I recently got the same charge as well. Strange. $429
Capitol One is taking care of it though.

same thing here for 429.00.called to cancel card and found out second charge fo 430.00 just submitted.how many of you live in north jersey.i would like to track this scumbag down.

Same thing here.  I saw 429 charged on my latest statement I got yesterday. I called Bank of America cc and they took care of it BUT I then checked my latest transacations and there was the charge again for next billing cycle which I had to dispute again. I'm in Ma. I don't think it is a one time charge.

Same thing here in Maryland- $429 Jan and Feb. We called to have it disputed but I am now wondering if we have to cancel our card as well.  What a pain!!!

Same thing happened to us - charges for $429 in January and now again in February.  Our card is through Wells Fargo.  They have taken off the charge and disputed it both times but it certainly is unsettling to have to watch for it every billing cycle.

Received 3 charges 1/17 2/13 3/12 from this company.  Called them and kept getting redirected back to voice mail.  Placed charges with Fraud Department at Capital One, cancelled credit card and issued new card.

I too have gotten three monthly charges and my credit card company has taken care of it. Last week I received  a priority mailing envelope return address: fulfillment center in myrtle beach sc.  Inside were 5 pages from ID Safe welcoming me to their organization. Any page could have been printed on any computer. If I had any questions to call their customer service.  There were no phone numbers, no names no list of fees no address other than po box in sc.  They asked I fill out a form to sign up for services and return. I don't understand why this hasn't hit the national news like the Hannford scam and Tjx problems.

We got that priority mail package too!  So weird.  It wasn't asking for much info on the form, wonder what they are after.  Probably a signature.  VERY ANNOYING to have to wait month to month to see if it happens again.  We also cancelled our card with Wells Fargo and got issued a new one, hopefully that makes it stop.

I also signed up for an offer with this number on the charge, and when I looked them up the next day I found this site. I just canceled my card.

Just called BOA and told them of these charges over the last 3 weeks. This is Crazy!
