Caller said it was important that I call before end of business day today - left no name or company just phone nubmer and xtension.

Caller said it was important that I call before the end of business day - the same as above.  Also left no company name or extension.  Left an extension #1135 and name Ms. Lester.

A man called me and left a message. 'It is important to call back as soon as possible,,,call right away,,,'. Only left a phone number 1-800-604-0064 and ext 1130.

Okay..so we all got calls from this number with an extension to call. That part of the mystery is solved now the unsolved part is who is calling?

A woman called my mom's house, asking for me even though I haven't lived there in a very long time, apparently this was a SCHOOL. Ext left was 1126. My mom said the school name was something like "ECT" "ETI" or something (she couldn't remember, it was really early and they actually woke her up). Not sure why they'd have my information and my mom's phone #. Thinking of calling the #, but blocking my phone number just to see who it was.

Update: I just called that # and it doesn't even pick up... I smell a scam.

its dci collections. they are probably calling because of an outstanding unpaid wireless bill or some other bill. they are also behind this number as well- 904-247-5500.

Called about 3:30 pm- 8 April 2008 - saying I needed to call 800-604-0064- ex 1129- concerning an urgent matter-mentioned her first name being very quick and indistinct-(I could not quite make it out) left no company name -I assumed it was some sort of scam- I am on do not call list- but it does not seem to matter!!!

This lady keeps calling for my son,  He has never lived here.  Where did she get the phone number.  Some say it is a collections agency.  What a shame.  For a wireless company.  Man I hope it is not Verizon.  I will cancell them if it is them that is harrassing after all the business I have given.

They called for my daughter who does not live at home.  They said it was urgent.  I asked who was calling and they said, "I can't give my name, but the company I am with is DCI".  A couple minutes later the same company, but a different individual called our business number.  I think it is a collections agency because I know my daughter hasn't paid her Verizon phone bill.

I received a call from this number on my cell. They asked for a person at an address which wasn't me.  I said it was a wrong number, that they called on my personal cell number and they hung up.  I called back to see who it was, the reply was 'DCI, how can I help you?'  DCI is Diversified Capital, Inc - which is a collection agency.

It is verizon, my sister in law is being harrased because there were some charges on her phone that she was not resposible for but is being charged for. Anyway they just called me and left me a # to call same as the above numbers except different extension.

Left message with my name. Important to call back Jamie Marcus at extension #1145.  I called back got voice mail. No resolution.

They have been calling me and verbally violent. The person they want does not live here. I am on a Do Not Call List and these guys are unbelievable. It is about a Verizon bill. Verizon They claims they can't do anything about it and gave me the name of a compliance officer at DCI who has not worked there for years. The monster who did take my call finallly ended the harrassing calls. If I were the prey, I do not think I would even think about calling them back. They belong in cages.

It is in fact Verizon.  Though you have to remember that these 3rd party collections company's don't always work for just one company when performing collections.  If they give you problems ask to speak to a supervisor.  Most of the times if you tell them so and so doesn't live there they will believe you.  But it isn't hard to get relative information.

I keep receiving calls from this number, I don't know who they are and I don't owe any money to anyone.  I hung up, and then checked the number on my caller ID when I called the number I got a recorded message identifying the company as DCI.

The number was 1 800 604 0064 extension #1179. Called asking for my brother saying that it was DCI. They left a number and asked to speak with him and said it was very important that he call back. We believe it has something to do with Verizon.

Of course it is a collection agency for Verizon or Old account over due for Alltel.
Lets pay the bill. :)
