These people are in business of collections, unfortunetly a lot of people now owe so many bills that they consider it harrasment when they are called to be reminded they need to pay , we all have bills but if no one was to tell us to pay after several months or years of non payment our economy would be screwed. The solution to ending this company is to pay your debts on time! There is no point in crying about it when they are just doing their job.

'Starr' is making an incorrect assumption that everyone receiving these calls is a deadbeat -- I would like to point out that this may not be the case.  I was harrassed for several days by this agency, simply because they had incorrect contact information for some mysterious person named 'Carrie'.  I was glad I finally returned the call, because the harrassment stopped immediately after I straightened out the matter.

IT is obvious that you work for this company, there are way more scams that drain the economy then what you speak of.  True alot of people owe some one or another but if you read the problems below you will see that the Collector is Rude wont provide any proof of Debt and conducts themselves in an unprofessional mannor.  So I ask you this instead of posting and telling everyone to quit crying why dont you become a productive member of society and write a book on how to be debt free because you must know how to, or even how to never be late on a payment.  You could make lots of money and put it to work to fix the economy that say is screwed.

I simply called them told them I was Michael Cunningham with the legal department and needed to speak to the IT Department.  I was transfered to a floor supervisor who was very helpful in giving me all this information.  LOL  Enjoy.

Calls twice a day and starts before 9:00am.  My 80 year old mother is getting upset.  When I got in touch with them and asked for the "Michael Cunningham", they never let me speak with him and gave me to someone else.  They claim to be Recovery Solutions and have access to my credit report and what I owe (they actually know my credit score)!  They want me to make a payment to them in the full amount.  They were made an offer for monthly payments and refused to take it.  When I asked to speak with Michael Cunningham and to get an address I was told he did not exist that it was just a recording to get me to call them.  Their name and number does not show up in the caller ID.  They tell me it is being recorded.(Yes, you are being heard by speaker phone by the other "smooth operators" in the office)  I feel somehow these people got my info and are using a fictitious set up to collect on people's debts.  Why else wouldn't they settle, why isn't Michael real and why doesn't their company name and number show up and why wouldn't they give me their address.(I was handed over to three people in one call when asked for their address).  I have a new friend studying to be an attorney and am going to see what he knows on this and can do about it. My guess for anyone else getting these calls is they have your information too.  The low lifes pry and ask very personal questions and tell you what you should do to get money for them.  Harassment!  Several times a day and night.  I recorded them and told them not to call me and they said they didn't, that, the recording Michael Cunningham did!  Am sending a letter to Better Business Bureau and anyone else I can find.  Do not give money to these strangers!

I just called the Federal Bureau of Consumer Protection Office and gave them my home number so that telemarketers will stop calling my home.  I am filling out the complaint report as well. It is so disruptive and fraudulent!  Their number is 1-888-382-1222 and the Bureau says that it will be active in a few hours but you still have 31 days of potential calls before it completely is taken care of for most telemarketers.  The protection is for 5 years. and you can register a complaint at donotcall.gov

I also have problems with these people. They've been harassing me and me wife for a while now. I spoke with a lady named Tonya Covington or something like that. They are accusing us for some kind of debt that is not in our name or SSN. We are seriously thinking about suing them for harassment.

I had a voice mail from a Michael Cunningham (1-800-608-5423) saying to call back and that he is looking forward to talking to me. I'm not gonna call back of course. I received calls like this one from other numbers too, always looking for a Richard Denning. They need to stop calling!

"Michael Cunningham" calls my cell at least once a day, virtually every day. His message appears to be halfway cut-off by the voice mail, or perhaps it is a gimmick to appear to be cut off. At any rate, I'm thinking of investing in one of those super loud horns, you know the kind they use at football games? Maybe a few blasts through a phone will discourage "Michael" from continuing to harrass me. If not, I have the best lawyer in the state working for me for free, and he specializes in DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES. I'm sure he'd have a grand old time suing Michael into oblivion.

This "Leading Edge" company calls everyday.  When I pick up, there is a recording saying "Hello, this is Michael Cunningham.  It is important that we talk to you.  Please call my number at 1-800-608-5423."  I have tried to dial them back to inform them that they are calling a corporate office, and to please remove our number from the list.  I was very polite-as always, because I am at work, and the phones are my responsibility.  When I give them the numbers that pool into my phone (as a receptionist, I have 3 lines-which the gentleman said "man-that's alot of work, and is going to take a long time to look them up"), they say they cannot locate the numbers in their system, and there must be a number that I am not giving them.  I inform them that there is not.  They then tell me, to call them back if we get another call.  I checked with our Business Phone Provider and made sure that those were the only three numbers that reach my phone, and they are.  So, today when I get the call, I immediately call them-as they requested.  I get someone else on the line, and they are, again, not very polite.  I have to go through giving them all three numbers again.  The lady then states that she cannot locate them in her system (surprise-surprise).  She then says, are you sure we are not looking for you?  I almost lost my cool then-but calmly told her-I'm absolutely positive that your company is not looking for my company-as we are a corporate office for Air Conditioning Systems.  She then stated that if we got another call to call them back, and she would get me to the IT department.  So basically-the call was pointless, I asked her if she could go ahead and transfer me to them since this was my second call, and everytime they call me-it takes away from me answering one of our Customer's calls. She told me to hold, I got silence, one busy signal, a couple of rings, and then click-apparently she hung up on me.  Giving them the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe they accidentally disconnected me, I immediately call back, and I asked for the gentleman's extension, he was very rude and wouldn't give it to me until he had my name...this was new. I gave it to him-but he never gave me his extension.  I explained the situation to him, and asked to be put through to IT.  He told me to hold, and I got music this time, then silence-I was let go again.  I call back, and now I am pretty frustrated and when the next guy answered, I was very straightforward and super professional.  I asked for his name and extension.  Told him the situation.  I again had to give them all three numbers.  Again-not in their system.  I tell the gentleman what happened and that I was told that I needed to talk to the IT department, but everytime I requested to be transferred-the people hung up on me.  He told me he would look into the situation, and put me on hold.  All the while-I'm having to answer the phones for my company...this is getting ridiculous.  He finally gets me back on the line and says he is having his supervisor look into the numbers I gave him.  That was fine, I told him I would hold, thinking finally to get to the bottom of this.  He comes back-and tells me that the numbers I gave were definitely not in their system.  I then asked for the IT department.  This is where he gets rude... He said he couldn't transfer me due to the fact that they were not allowed to transfer me there...WHAT?  I asked him-why then did the others tell me that was who I needed to talk to and then try to transfer me there???  He says "Mam, quit talking and just listen to me, I have a really bad toothache right now."  I think, Oh my goodness, is this for real?  I explain to him, that maybe I should run this by our legal department (yes we are that big of a corporation-worldwide), and he tells me..."Mam, that sounds like a threat."  I say no, I'm not threatening, it is my company's right to know what calls are coming through, and if they are a debt collection agency then that would be our account payable/receivable and legal departments.  (why does it bother him so much if his company was not doing anything wrong-if they had nothing to hide-he should have been fine with that) He then states that he will contact the IT department himself and have us removed from the list...  My thought is-wait a minute-didn't all the people form his company tell me I wasn't on that list????  If I get another call, I think I will let our legal department know.

I received a call from someone by the name of Constance... she was asking for a George who is not at my cell phone number.  Then the following day I get a call from Michael Cunningham, which by the way I find out is only a "pre-recorded message" and I call the number back and there's a lady asking for George again.  I said they need to get their information straight that this person is not at this cell phone number and she started yelling at me.  I then spoke with a gentleman and he told me the number of my cell phone was just sent in January 28th.  We have had this cell phone number for 3 years and have no idea who the person is they are asking for.
