Got two calls today from this number. Left no voicemail message.

Got a lot of calls from this number.  It is OnStar, and if you call back there is an option to remove your name from their call list.  I believe they were calling to tell us of a mistake in our account, which I corrected on-line.

I keep getting calls from this number and when I answer there is no-one there.  I found out it is OnStar and had my number removed. You would think if they're going to call they would at least speak to you. I get several calls a night from them. I don't know why it will take 10 business days to get off the list either. I get 10 more days of hell. Thanks OnStar

I received several calls a day from this number & finally received a message on our answering machine.  It is OnStar calling to welcome us to OnStar and congratulate us on the purchase of our new vehicle...which was a surprise since we haven't purchased a new car, let alone one equipped with OnStar services.  Not sure how they got our number, but I did call the number back and ask them to remove our number from their calling list.

I called the number and was given an automated option to remove my number.  I entered my number and was given an automated response my number would be removed.  If I want additional Onstar services I will initiate the request.  

OnStar's legal counsel is Joanne Finnorn.  Call their corporate offices & threaten them as I did & your number will be removed.

Just got a call from 1-800-638-5828.  No one on the line.  To teach them a lesson, I haven't hung up my phone yet - they have been paying for 1 hour 44 minutes so far of long distance call to Canada.  Even if they pay only 1 cent a minute, I don't need my land line so I'm not ready to hang up for a long time.

Getting numerous calls with nobody at the other end. Sometimes one right after another.Seems intentional and abusive.

Got 2 calls one right after another with nobody on the line from telephone number 1-800-638-5828. From reading this page i guess it's OnStar call spamming. OnStar sucks!

Got two calls from them today.  Answered the first time, noone was there.  Second time, let it ring, they didnt leave a message.

Got a call from this number. Carla with Onstar. Said my credit card was invalid. Also said I needed to update credit card information. I called Onstar and they said the number (mine) that was called is not in their system. Totally confused. Either Onstar is totally messed up or their database has been compromised. Either way, it's very scary!

Got hang up call from that number today.  Called it back and got an automated message to call a different number at a charge of $5.95.

I receive calls from this number daily.  No one is ever on the line when you answer it and then they almost always call right back.  I called it back and only got an answering service.  I requested to have my number removed.  We'll see what happens!!!!

I have received 3 calls today from this same number. if it is On star ! they need to stop being so damn annoying if they intend on keeping customers on the program.

They have been calling 3 or 4 times a day for a few weeks.  I will not answer the phone.  Our number is on the Do Not Call list, but I guess it doesn't matter.  They are a real pain.

I have Caller ID. They give up after 4 -5 rings. I wrote down the number and put it in Google and got my answer!Thanks guys!!I never answer "Caller Unknown" or 800 numbers. Caller ID is great for saving your time.

I have many calls, since july 8...no message...I see it belongs
to all-star...I have had no business with them, I have no bills.

Wife called me at work - we got a call from this number (800-638-5828) and the person ID'd themselves as OnStar and were calling about our new Chevy Impala. My wife informed the person that we do not have an Impala and asked what the name on the account was. He wouldn't say, but verified our address and asked who all lived in our home. My wife said her, me and our son, but gave no names. She said the guy was rude to her, and he even told her that I must have bought it without her knowledge. When she said that she was positive that didn't happen, the guy insisted that we have someone that lives in our home that she doesn't know. My wife started to get upset by the guy's attitude and said, "Well, my son is four and doesn't have his license - he keeps failing the written exam." The caller then amonished her for being sarcastic, to which she replied that he called us, was rude to her and wanted to know who lived in our home. With that, she hung up on him.

After she called me, I called OnStar, and they have no record of my number and address (I refused to give my name). So I think this number is a scam, and they are only using OnStar's name. Probably a info-phishing scam...
