- Nyda| 1 replyI have recieved several calls from this number for the past few months. They have left voice messages about the status of an "application" I supposedly filled out. I do not drive, I do not know if the previous person who had my phone number did. My cell phone is a prepaid phone. I answered one day and told them to please stop calling as I am not interested and arent the person they are looking for. They still call, several times a day.

- Goodbye, Mercedes Benz!Mercedes Benz Financial payment system will not accept a payment online before they post the next bill exactly on your due date. Contract states that you have a 10 days grace period. But, they send it to in-house collections and begin calling within four days, weekends included in count, with the above mentioned constant calls, even when you already have scheduled an online payment within the grace period that they can readily see. Couple this with the absolute crap they built and sold while they were Diamler Chrysler and they really lose. Keep in mind, this is how they treat loyal customers who are paying on time. It seems absurdist to waste money harrassing good customers who bought your tin can when the economy is tanking and you need to be retaining customers who are nearing lease end.

- First and LAST MercedesI too amd getting 20 - 30 calls a day on my main business number from 1-800-654-6222. I have an automated voice mail system, so when they call, they dont leave a message, but do take up my voice mail with an "error" call that goes to the receptionist. She spends a total of 40 minutes a day answering these "error calls". I hve threatened Mercedes to stop calling, but they don't, so i am now looking into a lawyer to sue them for interupting my business. I suggest you all do the same and screw these ***holes.

- B.J.Have been receiving calls from 800-654-6222 the past few days. Once when I answered I got the tail end of a recording that mentioned mercedes. Calls are going to my cell phone and no message is ever left. They can call all they want. I'm just not going to answer.

- Caller: Mercedes Benz
- PDIEPThey did the same, calling on early and late hrs. I am my 2nd last lease payment and somehow forgot to pay on time. That is my first missed payment on a 38 lease payment. AND I get hammer by these calls. The stupid thing is they dont even response when I do pick up the line. For a while, I thought it was crank calls. I finally got a call from my business line that I did nt make the payment. Did nt even know the 1800-654-6222 is connected with Mercedes Benz. After reading this blog, I realized where these calls come from. It really lousy service, I was thinking about getting another lease but considering BMW or Lexus now. Their lost...
- contacted attorneythese jerks call me night and day at work and on cell phone. I had leased a vehicle and returned it at lease end. They are now trying to harass me into giving them almost $500 for breaking their lease by not leasing another vehicle when I turned mine in. GUESS WHAT -- THEY NO LONGER LEASE VEHICLES SO THEY BROKE THE CONTRACT BEFORE I TURNED MY VEHICLE IN. I AM NOT GIVING THEM ANOTHER CENT. THEY GOT ENOUGH MONEY FROM THE GOVERNMENT BAIL OUT THAT MY CHILDREN'S CHILDREN WILL HAVE TO PAY VIA THEIR TAXES!! GO SUCK ROTTEN EGGS YOU ARE LOWER THAN POND SCUM!

- louisThis number calls 6 times a day and leaves no message or hangs up when the extension is answered.
- AnonymThese kind folks at Mercedes only call me twice a day. Today is the 5th, my payment is due on the 2nd and as other folks have stated the payment is not considered late until it is 10 days past due. My suggestion is that you change your phone number in your profile to your local Mercedes dealer.

- LeaveMeAlone! replies to Nydathis has been happening to me for months... I would like to know if anybody has the address to this institution. I would like to go down there, show them my I.D., then have them call me and verify I am not Andre Jones. So stop calling for him 6-9 times a day.
- MELCalling house and now cell phone no message. I don't own a Mercedes have nothing to do with Mercedes!!! I think they look at the last name of someone they deal with and then just blanket harass people with same last name.
- B| 1 replyAlso repeat calls, we do have a leased Mercedes but we are not behind on the payments. Did not know it was Mercedes till reading everyone's entries here... but this morning I did pick it up and just listen, all I heard were a series of electronic "buzz" interruptions. No voice, no recording. Weird.
Mercedes has always treated us well. I cannot say the same for Daimler-Chrysler! We had a Jeep previously, we had to turn it in early because it had an electrical problem that made it dangerous to drive. Jeep couldn't have cared less about our problem, they did nothing to remedy it, they would not reduce the lease, we ended up losing about $1500. But safety was more important to us.
Anyway, I could believe it was Chrysler doing this to us, but not Mercedes.
Is it possible that someone is using Mercedes' name on these calls?- Caller: not stated
- DCPDXBeing curious, I finally answered the call from 800.654.6222. I was asked to give personal information regarding my account and they would not tell me what the call was regarding until I did. I work in the insurance industry and specialize in insuring financial institutions...including FRAUD. This "play" by these folks fits the profile of various scams. I'm not saying this IS a scam...I'm saying it would be wise to NOT test it. If Mercedes wants to contact you, they will find other ways...like the US MAIL. STAY AWAY AND DO NOT OFFER ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION, EVEN YOUR ADDRESS (that's where it all begins)...
