- Stacey| 43 repliesany one know who this is? they have called my cell phone 3 times but i have not answered. i was hoping to know what company this is before i tell them to take me the F* off their phone list ... grr, how is it legal for telemarketers to be wasting our cell phone minutes now?!
- Trinh| 5 repliesi got a phone call from this same exact number, i didnt pick it up because it was curious to get a phone call from a 1 800 number
- ASi got few calls from 1-800-661-4858 as well.......
but i didnt answer them..... - J.| 7 repliesI've had 2 calls today from this number. I didn;t bother answering but if they call again I'll be sure to answer and I'll let you all know.
- J.| 4 repliesThat number called back I answered the phone but there was dead air.
I have no idea . - Dan replies to J.| 3 repliesThey called me and there was dead air for about 15 seconds (surprisingly i stayed on the line) and someone finally responded.
- RC| 1 replyI've received two calls from them today. They've called on Aug 8 & 9, all times I've let it go to voicemail and nothing. Very mysterious.
- Ella| 2 repliesI've been receiving calls from them for weeks now, and when I pick-up, there's no one there. Finally today there was someone on the line from Bell, wanting to 'discuss my phone plan'. She wanted a bunch of personal info to confirm that it was really me. Why would I give out personal information to someone calling me?? I told her to stop calling.
- Caller: Bell
- SJFCalled on my cell numerous times over 3 weeks. I am a Bell cell customer so what Ella says makes sense that it is Bell calling.
I won't pickup 1-800 numbers so, thanks for the information.- Caller: Bell?
- smithI got a call, the person on the line asked for my dad. I told the person that he couldn't be reached at this number, she asked where he could then read off a number that was his. I think she mentioned bell but i am not sure.
- Caller: bell (i think)
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Bre| 2 repliesYep, it is a Bell Mobility client care service. They just called my office and no one was there. I called back and it was an automated message saying they will call us again another time. Irritating to say the least.
- Caller: Bell Mobility
- Call type: Unwanted
- Aaron| 4 repliesIt's definately Bell Mobility. They are calling to talk about renewing your plan contract. I keep telling them that I am not the primary account holder (i'm part of a shared plan) and to contact that person at their number. However they still keep harrassing me on my cell. It's very annoying to say the least and Bell should be ashamed to have employees who do not care to listen to their customers.

- Bell upset| 5 repliesI called Bell yesterday and told them I was over charged on my cell. They said yes you are right and tried to get me to sign up for a new plan. I said no thank you. Today I got this phone call did not answer cause it's
1-800 and those are my minutes. Glad to know it was Ma Bell.- Caller: BELL
- lkIt's BELL, and yes, they're calling to sell "better plans". I told them to email me with all the info b/c I think it's ridiculous how I should use my minutes so they can explain to me how to save them! They informed me they didn't email info, to wich I responded too bad for them...Their business might improve if they did...It's a shame they have our numbers.

- Rheal ListI receive at least one call a day (during the week) for the past few months. I never answer because I receive a few calls a day with random dead air... Glad to know it's bell.
Unfortunatly for Bell, I am now the proud Cancellor of all that is Bell. I've always had Bell phone, then got the whole package thing when I got a cell phone. Any time I had problems, I had to deal with dear sweet Emily BELL! I have never been so shoved aside, and given half-[***] BS answers, and nothing was ever in the departement of the person I was speaking too... My solution: Ba-Bye Bell. I cancelled all my services, even home phone! Feels great! - angrywife| 1 replyBell has been calling my home and both cell phone numbers asking for my husband who is the primary holder of the account. Duh! one man 2 phones on FAMILY PLAN and one not being used. They asked me who this was when I answered my phone, like who the heck are YOU? Today I answered my home phone, Yep, Bell looking for the hubby, when I asked who was calling they hung up
the nerve!- Caller: BELL
- inbound call terminatorFor the past few months I've been receiving calls from this phone number. They'd wake me up early in the morning, call during lunch, dinner, and then late at night. I never answered them because I found it disgusting that telemarketers would start calling you on your mobile phone. So I got to the bottom of it by going to the source. A *notsoquick* call to Bell mobility solved the problem. I was told that ---
As soon as you register your phone there is a default setting on your account that is checked to receive new offers and notification from Bell. You must ask them to change this setting to "recieve no calls from Bell."
I know it's a pain in the a$$ to go through "Emily" and wait for someone to receive your phone call. I guess for anyone who is going to buy a phone plan from Bell in the future ask to "not receive any notifications from Bell" and this will solve your problem. - AnnnieB| 2 repliesIsn't it ironic that not only do we pay them for service, but we have to pay them a monthly fee for "call display" just to know that it is Ma Bell doing telemarketing. Wake up Bell!
- Caller: Bell of course
- Call type: Telemarketer
- dg replies to Stacey| 6 repliesThey have been calling me three or four times a day for the past week and a half. apparently its a bell mobility marketing team. ia haven't answered.
- mytoesarebluei haven't managed to catch them yet, but i have recieved one call a day all week. and its annoying as hell cause yep they don't leave their info they just leave your phone saying 'someone called' its annoying to me that someone would call like this. i've been considering going back to them cause rogers isn't much better, but that is definately a NO now. thanks guys for sharing this info. its good to know that its someone calling that i DON"T want to talk to. i hate talking to 'emily' espeically when i just want to talk to a real person to get the stuff ifgured out. ARGH.
- Caller: Bell I assume
