    Some scammer called a family member today claiming to be South Association Finance. They were phishing for information concerning family members names and addresses. No family member had any dealing with this company. I did note that this is an Altell number on reverse lookup. Be aware, this sound very scammy

    I was thanked for choosing alltel the message left on my voice mail. I never had any dealings with this company or I never chose this company. I hope their not scamming my phone. I sue them!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Called twice in a row this morning.  We do have Alltel so I'm glad I searched the # online and didn't answer.  Has not left a message.......wonder what's up with that?

    Received three calls in the last 12 hours on my AllTel Cell Phone. These all went to voice mail and consisted of a short tone sequence repeated twice. The tones were just a musical-sounding sequence, not SIT tones or other network-related tones.

    Suspect this is not AllTel, but some other entity spoofing the Caller ID.

    i got the call and when the bank issuse you a new debit card and you are set up on auto pay you have to resign up for auto pay also. because the card is no good for a during the transition between cards. the automated voice on the voicemail only said, there is a problem with your acc

    Got a text message from this number. It said the contact # in my account details was invalid. Went to my.alltel.com and fixed the error. Asked me to call this # back, but didn't.

    This number has called me about 5 times a day for the last week.  I never answer because I'm at work, but they've only left a message twice.  When I listened to it, it was a recording saying that I hadn't paid my alltel bill, but that's impossible, because I have it come directly from my checking acct. every month and my bank said that it had come out already.  So I'm really not sure why they've called so many times.

    I received a call from this same number this afternoon.  I have NO outstanding balance on my account.  In fact, I've been fighting them because they won't sent me a paper bill, so I can't access my call details.  I never requested to bypass receiving paper bills.  It took me one hour of calls (six calls total) to even get my account number.  Alltel could not give me that information over the phone even though they verified my name, address, social security number and primary cell phone number on my account.  They told me that I would have to pay a $5.00 fee for them to send me a copy of a bill that I've never received. Finally, I called my Agent and he gave me my account number so that I could access my account online.  Guess what?  While I was on the phone with Alltel AGAIN, the customer service rep. told me the date of my last invoice and the amount.  The information was entered EXACTLY as the CSR told me to enter it.  I received a message that the billing date and amount of bill was inaccurate.  The CSR even tried for himself and said, I don't know what to tell you!  I have a very large pooled plan and my family shares the minutes.  My bill should not exceed $250.00 per month.  My bills average over $700.00 per month, which I obviously would question it.  Since they won't give me access to my calls and what's being billed, I have no clue what I am paying extra for.

    YOu owe alltel money.  They will cut your service soon alltel isn't lenient at all, they give you a couple of days. Then they charge you a horrendous reconnect fee.  Other companies are more forgiving.

    I recieved a text message from 8006722051 with this in the message body:

    The contact numbers on your ALLTEL account are invalid. It is urgent these are updated by calling 800-672-2051. *PLEASE DO NOT REPLY. This text message is free*

    I haven't called them back yet and I will not do it from my cell phone. I'll use a land line.

    Alltel is lame. I've been with it since before it was even "Alltel", when it was First Cellular. That was good service. Now Alltel starts harassing us every two weeks to pay a bill that's supposed to be for a month of service! They send us text messages and leave us voicemail at least five times a day. very annoying. And yet, we still refuse to pay until the fourth of every month. They haven't cut us off yet. Maybe they're afraid that if they do, we won't bother reconnecting and just go to a different service. Because Alltel is made of suck and fail.
