With Bell. My phone was off, when I turned it on it showed voice mail. Checked but no message was left. Pressed '5' to retrieve this phone # and time - 6:47pm. Only short list of family knows my #. Seems like they are calling cell phones and not land lines.

Its not that anyone sells your numbers....call centers typically use an automated dialing system that dials numbers sequentially, until it reaches someone.

I too received a call on my BlackBerry that very few people possess the number.  I called and placed my cell and home phone numbers on the DNC list.

Just got a call from that phone number, was 1-800 so I didn't answer as everybody that has my phone # is already in my contact list.

I just got a call from that number today.  I"m with Telus in Ottawa.  I didn't answer

I got this call too but never answered it.  My voice mail picked up the call and I deleted that as well.

I received this message on my SaskTel cellphone, didn't answer and unfortunately they left a message which costs me money.  They want to know if you have a land line or cell phone in your home.  You have the option, supposedly of being reimbursed for your call, if you press 3.  A little difficult to do on a message.

I got this call and it said it was a survey from gatineau, that it would only take 30 seconds, and asks if you have a home phone besides your cell phone. After this I hung up.

This number just called me, WTF Did'nt answer no voice mail.

Call me on my cell an hour ago...missed call.

WEll since you answered the call , your paying for it might as well blast them and tell them your not happy , like lie on it , so what they cant sue you and this will give them a screwed up survey , poll or what ever and if they sell you something sure send me 30 of them in green and radom off any number and say my name is Chin Cho Soo Guy One Long Duck .

This number called me on my cell. I did not answer. I am in Ottawa with Rogers.

My cell # is unlisted, this is the 2nd number calling my phone, not appreciating it.  This one says it's doing a survey from Gatineau, Quebec.

I had a call from this number on my cellphone today, which is annoying enough, but given that I'm out of town at the moment I'm really annoyed,

Called it back and the message indicated it was a survey company based in Gatineau.

Got the same call today at work.  With Rogers.  Have also been getting a call lately from a 210-301-xxxx Houston Texas based number.  They started immediately after I got a new handset from Rogers last month(weird considering I have the same number as I always have).  Got the automated voicemail.  Has anybody had any luck by being taken off their list? Do they still call?

I got a call from this # just now.  I am with Mobilicity in Ottawa.  Didn't bother to answer, no voice message was left.
