Called my cell today and did not leave a message.   Suspect a sales call.  I have registered my cell on the do not call list and have not gotten sales calls in the past but two days ago I posted my resume to a few sites which had my cell phone number.   I'm speculating a link between the 1- 800 calls and resume posting that only time will tell.

Rec'd a call today from this number but no message. I make a point to never return phone calls if I do not even have a message from the caller. If it is that important you should leave a message!

If you do not want people calling you, do not fill out anything online with your number. [***].

I just got a call from them, didn't answer, and decided to look up the number. Upon finding out who it was, I remembered filling out some applications on Careerbuilder.com. Chances are that I clicked the request button for someone calling me in regards to schooling.

    You guys are [removed:lang].

    no, john, you're the [removed:lang].

every single job application you fill out asks you for phone numbers.  in most cases, you can't proceed to the next step/page until you give them a phone number.  therefore, you give your phone number in the hopes you will be called back about said job application.

however, i don't remember filling out or checking buttons ANYWHERE on the applications that i would like for someone to contact me in regards to schooling.  it's a scam to make money for somebody somewhere who isn't yourself.

    have a pleasant day.

If anyone from Career Advisor actually reads this: I have received calls from this number and another number you use (888-637-2967).  I do not need your assistance.  My daughter is already a freshman in college, and my high school senior son has already decided where he would like to continue his education.  My numbers are on the Do Not Call list.  I have already filed a complaint with DoNotCall.gov and will keep doing so until you stop calling.

Received a call from these people which my wife answered and was treated Very Rudely by the man on the call. I did a little searching and while I have not verified everything mentioned quite a bit does appear true. While the best lies contain some truth it appears what this applies to this company more than the information posted about them ...(found after I tied Career Advisor to Job Nab .. google for yourself as well)

These people and companies that prey on people who are desperately seeking employment are scum. They are rip off artists that are simply out to scam desperate people. Also be on the lookout for Careertrack.com they are also using this tactic. It will show up as a 800 number also.

I called and asked to be removed from their computer database.
I was told it takes 24-48 hours.
    I just got called again.
After I answered some foll from Career Advisors says, "Hello, Hello?"
I called them back and when they answered I said, "Hello, Hello?.......
Then I called and asked for the manager, When he came on the line I told him that if they call again I will
    sue them for $1000.

This tactic usually works with scamming, spamming  fools.

You are the [***]!!!!  If you are looking for a job, online is the main way to go these days!!!.  I don't like getting these calls either, but if you are not searching online, you may never find a job.
