Got a call from this number, no message other than they have a "special surprise for me" and call back with a reference.  They have called before and I've researched before.  If you ever put your name down at a bridal show they will get it and call you and you are supposed to "invest" in tons of cookware and then your special surprise is a "free" weekend trip, but even that is tied into a time share.  AVOID.

If you type in the phone number left on the message you get their website.  They ask you to sit through a 90 minute presentation; they ask for both you and your fiancee.  They are trying to get you to buy products.  It is a scam so don't do it unless you have money you want to spend.

I got a voicemail from this number as well. I couldn't even hardly understand the lady..but something about a bridal package and congratulations..giving me a reference number. I'm sure it's a scam..and by the looks of the previous posters..i'm sure it is. *sigh*

Got a call from 1-800-676-4731, a lady, Karen, told me I had won a weekend getaway and gave me a reference number and to call them and claim my prize. I called and spoke to a guy who said I won a wedding package getaway, then i asked him how he got my number, he said from wedding shows I had attended...which seemed weird since I had only given my number to local places, said he would put my winning on hold for me until we could meet. didn't mention anything about cookware. then i googled midwest lifesytle and found it was a scam! I've seen others that have gone to David's bridal and then received this phone call, I also signed up with David's Bridal.

I got a similar call.  The guy (James) told me he was with Dinner 4 Two in Dallas and that they rented China and Cutlery for my event.  He told me he got my number from a bridal show.  I am very recently engaged, but I haven't been to a bridal show yet, so I was a little skeptical.  He also told me I had won some sort of travel package giveaway but that we would need to meet to discuss how to claim.  I didn't want to make an appointment before checking the guy out, but he was really persistent on the phone and said they were required to make appointments over the phone and that I could always cancel.  Luckily, I was persistent too...I told him that sounded rediculous and that I needed to check my schedule.  It sounded fishy when the callback number was an 800 number, not a local Dallas number.  I won't be scheduling an appointment.

Ah it all makes sense now! My phone call coincided with the first mail correspondence I got from David's Bridal too! I am SO disappointed to learn that thy sell your information. I did some digging and found that the phone number does indeed belong to a company Dinner 4 2 aka Midwest Lifestyles and they are an authorized dealer for Royal Prestige Cookware. Having been married before. I've been down this road when I was much younger and got suckered into sitting down at for the presentation in 2003. The trip VOUCHER we were giving didn't include airfare and was so lo brow we didn't even use it after purchasing the pans. We got four pans for $500!!! The pots/pans were nice but not worth $500!!! And it was like the old switcheroo because the trip they offer you is barely a trade off so it's more like a direct sale with a booby prize. You get better freebies from Clinique lol so definitely AVOID THIS ONE!!

I've been getting a phone call from the number listed above for days! They finally left a message, it was some chick jessica saying that I had won a bridal package with dinner for two and that she could only hold on to the package for a few more days. She gave me a 1-800 number to call with a code, but the call wasn't made from that number.  Now that i've read everyone else reponse i will not be calling back! UGH kinda sucks I was kinda excited!

I got the same message that Chels got from Jessica.  Really sucks that you are trying to plan your wedding by going to bridal shows, and these people waste your time and money.

Darn it, I wish I would have looked this number up before calling.  I receved a call from a 608 number and could not understand the message. I called that number back directly and it went strait to a recorded message from Dinner for Two, asking me to leave my name, number, and reference number. I was afraid it was some kind of old bill or something so I left my info. Dang it... Hopefully they won't call back...

They've been calling me for days at weird times like 9:00 pm.  I also went to David's Bridal.  I think the moral of the story is not to go to David's Bridal.  What a sketchy place.

Same story here. They have been calling for at least 2 months now. I answered the first two times and told them I would call back later. I did my research and didn't call back and now they keep calling me. I did not go to any bridal shows, but did go to Davids Bridal and I know thats were they got my info.

They usually call from a (606) or (701) area code, but leave this 800 number for you to call back.

they call me off the hook its so annoying! Just got a called today from a woman named Angie from Dinner for two saying I won a "bridal package" and that I needed to call back quickley because they couldn't hold it for long. I googled this because i thought it was fishy. I hadn't signed up for anything that I could win!

sure enough I was directed to this forum!

phone # used: 1-800-676-4731 and told me to use reference # 383437 when I called back.

    Thanks for your help!!!!

800-676-4731 called from 608-663-8591 - What a SCAM! Almost funny! Could barely hear the message left. Just when they call back pick up real quick and ask them to remove you from the call list that you are not interested in purchasing anything at all or ever! You have to be rude -- But you have a wedding to pay for! Pots can come later --- Maybe for the Bridal shower!
