Im not sure but they keep calling me too!!

This is some sort of organization that gets your number from different job hunting sites, ie monster.com, craigslist, that has your resume. They're called american income and Human Resources. They get you to come in for an "interview" and try to charge you various fees. In other words it's a SCAM!!!!!

I received a call today from this number. A Mark left a message but was deliberate in garbling the company name but clear he was calling per my resume. Call came from Orlando per caller ID. I have noticed many emails as well from financial or life insurance companies this week. I have my resume on many of the known job sites. Must be recruiting week. The scammers are always out too. No legit company makes an offer based on a resume. They would not ask for money either. Then there are the legit financial firms that hire in volume but most fail at selling life insurance etc. As the job numbers continue to go south many are desperate and these people prey on folks.

I have had calls from this guy Mark as well and he leaves me the same message. Thanks for letting us know its a scam.

keeps calling on a random rotation no person ever on phone leaves message that they are interviewing for a jobs can't get them to stop calling

"Hi,  This  message  is  for  <my name>  this  is  John  with  American  Income  in  the  human  resources  department.  I  was  calling  in  reference  to  your  resume  you  have  on  Career  Builder.  And  if  you  would  give  us  a  call  at  1(800) 682-9164.
They do have your name. I haven't called back.

Jerry's message above is what I just received verbatim. Call received 8:34 a.m., from a local area code (321).

I got the same message, but by a lady named Karen Johnson, i have to admit for a little while i was excited because of the desperation of employment but i researched this call on came across this website and comments, thanks for the heads up i will not call her back.

Got a call from these people, listened to the message a couple times, a lot of background noise. said they found my resume online (monster) and wanted me to call them back. I lady sounded a little frustrated but her tone of voice was elderly and rehearsed. I didn't get a good feeling about this company as soon as i heard her voice. and i'm not sure what kind of company they are, my resume was for Graphic design. and they are insurance? i have no idea. not calling back. thanks for the heads up on this form

I also received a phone call from this number (321-397-2805,Orlando area). This woman said, that she calls for AIL company, which is American Income Life Insurance. Then, she said that they are going to be open till 2PM and left this phone number 1-800-682-9164. I never called them back.I think that her voice/this crappy tone told me, it is B...S... SCAM.

Got a message from a Karen Johnson as well. However she said she was from the Anderson/Henderson Agency? Left that same message.

Received a call from a similar number. (321-397-2802) and the woman, Karen Johnson said she was from the Anderson/Henderson Agency and wanted me to call back at the 1-800 number.

Just received a phone this morning at 11:27a from a local number 321-397-4890. The Henderson group(a lady named Kim) left a message stating they wanted to ask me a few questions in regards to my resume (which I have posted on careerbuilder.com last week). They asked that I call them back on a 1-800-682-9164 number which was odd as they called from a local one (which is always BUSY). So I called the 800 number and the answering service states that they are currently interviewing for several positions and to dial different extensions depending where you live. I dialed ext 103 for Orlando and some guy answered "human resources" I explained that a Kim had called me and I was returning her call. He said she was not avail. Mind you during this time the noise in the background was so extreme to a point I could barely hear them as if they were in a large call center. I proceeded to ask (since I had already read these posts) what the Henderson group "DOES as a company" and he said "Thats besides the point" I said "excuse me!" He then cleared his throat and said "We offer insurance and other benefits to union workers.....blah blah blah" I cut him off and said thank you but I am not interested. End of conversation.
SO seriously don't waste your time UNLESS you want to sell insurance! I know I don't...

I missed  a call at 1:30 today from a Kim.  So I just called the 800 number and was directed to Extension #103.  Kim answered the phone and said she was from the Henderson Group and was looking at my resume too.  She said they place people.   I asked if this was a temp agency of some kind.  Then she said I'll get to that.  I just told her I wasn't interested because I know I didn't apply to such a company.

Aha!... I also as many of you, received a call this morning from local number (321) 397-2806. I also have my resume on Careerbuilder.com. Before calling I searched the number online, came out to some Novux Communications company, and I know I didn't apply to that company. So I knew it must have been a scam call.
When I heard the message they left on my voicemail, it was from the 1(800) 682-9164 number, a company named Hendersen Group. I never called them back.
As I was reading your messages I noticed I also have received several emails from Kim and Karen Johnson, in the past 2 weeks, either with AmeriLife Group or American Life Insurance Company, I guess they use different names.
Anyways, yes I've heard they basically have you go in for an intervew, but they instead give a very long conference, and try to charge fees for several things.
No serious job, or any company hiring will charge you fees, nor hide who they really are and not answer your questions. Be careful with these companies, I know times are hard, and we are desperate to find a job, but we can't trust everyone.

I keep receiving emails from a company called American Income saying they looked up my resume and they have urgent positions to be filled at their company... I am not kidding, I have gotten 7 emails from them in the past week. They have also called me once, and left a message.
Now the person sending emails goes by the name of Matt Hendersen... A few months ago I also received emails from the same guy but using the American Life Income Company and Amerilife Group... Why do these people use so many different company names?... I am starting to believe that either the companies don't exist or there is some kind of dirty bussiness behind it. Also the names of the so called "recruiters" or human resources associates may be fake as well...

These companies take advantage of people that are truly looking for jobs.

Called about my resume which I posted on career builder, I'm looking for an RN position. We all have enough problems finding jobs then to be harrassed! Not fond of career builder now!

I just got a call from Karen Johnson too from this number...she stated she was calling about my resume and was calling from "The Henderson Group"
So glad I checked it out on here to see all of your responses ... I won't waste my time calling back.
