Call to have my account on fraud alert and found out that in order to do that I would have to pay $16.94 per month, if i don't pay it would be a "statement" only. What the heck does that mean?

I would like to request my Annual free credit report

Needed to send proof a debt was put against my credit which was paid in full.  This phone number is bogus.

Form letter from Ally Bank stating they cannot accept terms of current transaction and would like to modify it.  Said they used credit score from "Sage Stream, LLC"  (never heard of them)  and referenced some information from an actual purchase.  Sounds bogus.  No call, but the phone number was on the letter.

Quoted me an address I never lived at and then told me I might be a victim on ID theft, then started asking me a bunch of personal questions.  I told them I would have my husband call back.

Input my SSN and gave my address and phone number.

Wow, set yourself up for identity theft there didn't you?

The cubicle dwellers on the phone couldn't decide if they were from the FBI or Equifax while they were informing me that a credit application was being created in my name.

Several 'umms' and 'uhhhs' were uttered before the meat-sack on the line finally uttered 'Credit bureau Experian' as his purported place of employment. He then became belligerent when he couldn't answer any questions regarding the purpose of his call.
