A machine calls and leaves a message pertaining to a case.
"Mr. Hummel" ????

I got two messages from this number. I was also told to contact "Mr. Hummel."

this is a debt collector who buys old debts.  lies and breaks laws in order to find the person they are looking for.  don't call them back.

This number called, said an attorney has a case and gave the number.  The name was something like Witzle .   I am sure this is a debt collector, as they kept mentioning it was a law firm.

I put them on call block.     I am not this person, and this phone number I have has had all kinds of calls.

Oh yes, this is a recorded message and it repeats the phone number several times and a case number.......... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr  I think they also tried to call with another 888-379-4884 As I got a call from them at 8:45 am this morning......... another recording with a LCC company.

This is a scam.  My message was muffled at the firm name, but the rest of the message was clear.  I called and told them they must have the wrong number because we don't use this number for anything. I was trying to be nice so that they could continue their search for the "real person." I told them my name and they mentioned my husband's...now I know they got that from the caller id. They said he was being sued for a credit card from 2002...never heard of the company and have recently checked our credit for identity theft. VERY rude...said I was laughing at him when I wasn't and mentioned settling out of court. I mentioned that if we were being sued, he would have gotten something in the mail.  He said he didn't like my tone and hung up on me!  I looked up the case number they gave me and it is invalid. This is totally illegal...don't call them back and don't give them any of you information!

I have been contacted by this company and they are very rude.  They threaten you every chance they get.  They called me scumbag, and said that I was not paying my bills.  They also said that they were going to sue me over some BP credit card that the statue of limitations had expired over 4 years ago.

received a recorded message from what sounded like they said, marshall and zealkuskey? It left a call back number 800-690-6293 x112-Shane Spencer and a case number. They said they were a law Office.

RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!  A Patrick Payne called my mom and threatened her with jail if she didn't give out my information.  They were looking for the wrong person and I called them to let them know.  I was cursed out and hung up on.  Before that, I was told that I was a low life and being charged for fraud for some credit card I never had.  These people must be stopped.  It is illegal to call for collections and threaten and harrass someone.

They are notorious violators of the FDCPA and have had multiple lawsuits filed against them, yet are STILL in business.

File a complaint against them with the FDCPA and your State's AG's office.

Someone has been calling, called Bob Carson. They leave messages at my relatives homes and jobs. When I call back, I have to leave a message on voicemail.

CONTINUE TO GET CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER ABOUT AN UNKNOWN CASE NUMBER AND WHEN TRYING TO RETURN THE CALL NO ONE ANSWERS,THIS IS SO UNCALLED FOR.

A machine left a message from "Marshall & Zakowski ???" regarding a case number.  No details were left except to call a "Brian Kutch ???" at extension 129.  Annoying message!

Aggressive and rude, accusatory and nasty. Have no idea how they got my cell phone number, but I got another 'collections' call on a bogus debt. 'Mr. Hummel' insisted that I had two choices, settle or be served. When I said I had no idea what debt or account he was talking about, as I pay all my bills on time, he continued to threaten legal action if I didn't settle. I checked all three of my credit reports (and scores) on the day I was contacted, and as I suspected, I have no accounts in bad standing. I filed a complaint with the BBB and the FTC.

Aggressive and rude had no Idea how they got my cell phone number, But he went By Mr Rubien Goldstien. He left voice messeages will search and seige your home and freeze your bank account and have it were you can't pay any of you bills till you pay us. He wanted me to give them my checking accounting number over the phone. And this was from a credit card that did'nt  belong to me and I was having it removed form my credit report. He even brought my ex husband from 10 yrs ago into the cosversation. I filed a complaint with BBB and the FTC.

Last week I looked this all up and figured these were creeps.  I called and said they could just take my name off of their scam list. They were very rude. After I hung up they called back making rude and suggestive noises. I shut them up when I told them and I had already filed with the FTC and the AZ attorney general. However, this morning I have them once again on my answering machine.  What a bunch of losers! To you losers(because I'm sure they read all this and think it is funny) go get a real job doing something decent with your life, so when you are old and have no teeth left you won't have to think, 'hmmm, I wonder what God will think of the waste of a life I have had.'

Now its Anne Klien (sp). My wife called him back and he asked is XXXX the last 4 of your husbands social. She said no (cause it wasn') and then he started getting extremely rude, started cussing out my wife. Saying I was a loser/dirtbag etc.

Tried to get my wife to give him my social security number and our address/etc.

She called him back/changing her voice and managed to play dumb, like she forgot her case number  etc. He said his name was Jim Waters this time.

I'll be calling the AG's office in FL first thing in the morning and report this loser.
