I got a few calls for the past few weeks. I called back today to see what and who they wanted. It was Bay Area Credit looking for someone I didnt know. The idiot on the other end would not,could not understand that I didnt know who they were looking for.  I asked him if he knew John Doe from a town near by and he said no. I said and I dont know who you are looking for either and not to call me back. I had to get righteous with the dude on the the phone and after 10 times of telling him not to call me again he apologized and hung up. I tried to get the number blocked from my cellphone but the phone company cant block the number (so they say).

Same story again. I didn't call them back, instead I googled this number and luckly found this page. I decided to ignore it. However, it comes back again and it's so annoying. I then tried to think a way to block the call. I'm using VOIP and I loged into my router and found that I can selective block and selective forward any call. So I set up my router to forward any call from this number back to the same number. Imagine when they try to call me and hear the welcome message from their company... I hope this will help those folks who using VOIP to deal with unwanted calls.

Number keeps calling- man with Indian accent threatened to bomb my house and that he was from Pakistan and would bomb the U.S. Pentagon next like they did the twin towers.  I have called the police.  Said his name was "Jason".

They call my business cell phone twice a day.  I have told them they can not do that.  They ask for information that you are not supposed to give out to people you don't know.  I told them I would contact a lawyer.  They keep calling

This number calls mornings, afternoons, and at night.  Very annoying.  How do I get them to stop?  They've been calling for 1 week now.

I have also been receiving calls from this number.  I owe nothing to anybody and have an excellent credit rating. One time I answered and talked to a guy with an Indian accent.  He told me his name was "Mr. Lee." When I asked for his company he asked me if I was a certain person. I asked him again what company he was calling from.  We played that game for a bit, and then the connection went bad.

800-697-1234 shows up on my caller ID so many times each week that it is ridiculous, and there have been many messages left on my answering machine.
 
I am home today (ill) so was able to actually answer the call - the woman with the virtually unintelligablly thick middle-eastern accent was demanding to speak with a man who used to live in my apartment building.

She would not believe me that she had reached the wrong apartment until I told her his correct FORMER apartment number - with sloppy hand writing the numbers can be confused.  Then she expected me to do the research to tell her where he had moved to and his current phone number.  

I have large whistles by each phone - if they call again I will blast their ears back to where ever they came from.

I just got called by these idiots. I'm an american doing studies in hungary and own a local southern cali skype phone number (to talk to family) these people called once asking for someone i dont know, i told them i dont know anyone by that name and promptly hung up. Then a few hours later i get a voicemail from them with nothing on the voicemail (lasting 30+ seconds...). I googled it and came up with this. Deffinitally dont give these ragheads any info.

I have a feeling that this is some sort of collection agency for AT & T, because I do owe them a bill. However, since I am not 100% sure, I will not give them the satisfaction of answering their call. They are very persistant and annoying. They are also, in my opinion, very unprofessional b/c they never identify the company they represent when they leave a voice mail. I wish they would stop calling me!!
