call looking forsome, advising of fraud of a possbile family member, scam call

This is a scam, rogue collection agency.  A legitimate collection agency would send you a written verification of the debt.  I always go to the online ftc website and file a complaint, even with just a phone number.

Received another call from these people regarding a debt that isn't mine. They were extremely rude even after I told them that I had proof that the debt isn't mine. They already have a suit against them from 2007 where they were told they had to change the way they handled everything. Perhaps if enough people did something about this they would eventually be forced to stop this nonsense

The person identified herself as a Ms. Resbeck (?).  She was very vague about the debt she wants to collect, as these people usually are.  She also said I had to call within the next twenty-four hours.

They call 2 to 3 times a day leaving messages for someone. They will not give the name of the person.  Just say call Mr. Lynch this is a debt collector. Talked to them once, I don't know the person they are looking for told them this, but they still keep calling. They are very rude.

These people are extremely rude, they kept calling my house and when I called them back, they were calling the wrong person.  Even after finding out that, they were still nasty.

These people belong in jail, they are crooks.
Why does our government allow this?
Must be the $600,000,000 in "lobbying donations" the debt and credit companies gave to Congress.

Mr. Daniel Lynch and Sharon placing calls every day, do not return calls to them. Unethical is not even a proper word for them or their business style. They are bottom feeders and all debts they call on are time-barred.
I personally think Mr. Lynch and Sharon are brother and sister and have crossed the family values line....

Received three calls giving this number as a callback to clear a debt I supposedly owe.  First call threatened me with reprisals delineated in the paperwork sent to me.  No such paperwork has been received by me.  No name of who they are trying to reach, no amount, nothing but call quickly.  Voice seems to be an automated message.  Name of person whom I am supposed to contact is Mr Masters, Mastas, or something like that.  I have not called this number as yet.

Automated recording call at 8:20 a.m. requesting a call back to the 800 number, said to "ask for Mr. Cook" regarding a financial matter. Are you kidding me? We have no debt collection issues.

I suggest that EVERYONE do what I do. I have a program on my computer called Callzap. It works in conjunction with a voice-capable modem and caller ID from your phone service to immediately hang up on morons like this (recognizes full or partial phone numbers and full or partial caller ID names). Also get a Philips cordless phone, as they have a "first ring" feature where you can turn off the first ring of the phone (with the caller ID service). So the call comes into the line, on the first ring Callzap sees it's one of these idiots and immediately disconnects the line. The phone never rings on your end and they never get through to annoy you.

These dead beats are the bottom feeders of the CA world, worst than my company. Avoid them, all there debts are time barred. The junk debt collector award of the year goes to Mr. Lynch and his buffalo bandits.

I have heard that Mr. Lynch had to remove all the mirrors in his house as he could no longer long at himself in the mirror. God has a place for these people.

Someone left a message saying they are calling from National Action Financial Services. And I have to call them back at 1-800-697-4976.
They didn't say what they are calling about.

Received 3 recorded phone calls advising me to respond by calling a Mr Newman about a debt which they cannot discuss. They said Mr Newman is a debt collector and I am to call this number, 1-800-697-4976.
I am so grateful to find all this useful information. All of you have certainly afirmed just what is going on with these scam artists. Thank You! I was so freightened. We do not owe any debts and wondered what they were talking about.
