Keep getting calls from this number. Anyone else? I've told them three times that they have the wrong number. Three times they have told me they completely removed the number from the system.

Also, getting calls from 800-709-8625.  Since automated system does not state who they are looking for, we report them to the Attorney General for the harassment.  I suggest all others to the same.

Receiving intermittent calls from this number. Automated female voice wants to talk to some "Katie ..." who I don't know so I hang up.

I would encourage all of you to go to www.debtorboards.com...click on FDCPA (fair debt collection practices act). The website is 100% free and it has aided me in filing suit and collecting $$$. For example, did you know that the collection agency calling you at 6am or refusing to identify who the original owner of a debt is both owe YOU $1000.00 PER VIOLATION? I also got good form letters to send to stop calling me, provide me with proof of the debt, I'm suing you for FDCPA violations, etc. Excellent website and very patient and helpful moderators. We have been getting calls nearly daily at 7:45 AM from this number.  It is a recording.  I looked up the FCC regulations and marketing and collection agencies are not allowed to call before 8 AM and after 9 PM.  

Kudos to the 3 Feb 2008 consumer above for the tip on reporting this company to the FDCPA.  I am going to do that right now.

I have found a program called "call blocker". I input the ph0ne # i want blocked and everytime they call it costs them and then it hangs up on them. So far NCO has continued to pay for the calls but they qwill get tired of it eventually. They are trying to collect a debt over 20 years old from me.

I receive a call from this number on a daily basis.  It is an automated call and it does not ask for anyone specifically but just says to contact John Barkley attorney at law and then it give this bogus phone number and a case ID number.  I will be taking the advice from this website to do paperwork to pursue legal action and a complaint against this NCO company.
Besides, I thought it was against the law to give out or leave personal  information on a phone without speaking directly to the actual person involved in the debt.  These idiots leave case numbers for anyone at the residence to call and inquire about.

Well here it is only a few days later and yet I receive another call from thus number.  I don't know why I am surprised, but I am.  This time the call was made a little after 4:00 pm.  The call refers to an important financial matter and ask that the cazll be returned. This call is for no specific person.  But you know what, I am glad they called back.  I will just add this as more evidence of the harrassing phone calls from these people.  So whoever you are, looking forward to your next call.

Just logging in yet another call from these crazy people.  This call was made on 4/22 at 8:28 am.  These calls are really adding up and I see big bucks for me.  Oh, by the way, I also know you use different numbers to call, but you are actually the same people.  Looking for your next call!

Well, this company must be watching this information I have been posting.  I hadn't been long from posting my information when I received yet another call.  Wow, I am amazed at your tenacity.  This time when I called my answering service, the call said this is Eddie leave your name and number and I'll get back to you , bye.  I think this is some sort of scam to collect on calls when you check your answering service.  This is really getting deep.  I see desparateness that may cause  legal consequences they may not want.  OK another call for my collection.......
